When updating the software on my iphone, I skipped the area where you put in your Apple ID. Now I do not have the maps icon. How can I get it back?

Well now I was able to download a back up disc for my windows 8 and try to load it and set the laptop to run the d: drive upon startup and not able to in BIOS can someone do a peint screen of the boot order screen

Are they still listed on your device when you go to Settings>iCloud>Storage>Numbers? If so, they should still be in iCloud but you may need to contact support to find out why the Numbers app isn't able to access them: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/.

If you go to the History menu, is "Restore Previous Session" available? You can check that either:
* "3-bar" menu button > History
* classic menu bar: History
If it's grayed out, then that's a bad sign.

Iphoto just lost my last import of pictures, how can i get them back?

Uploaded my pictures on iphoto, when I went to add location to them, iphoto crashed, and i had deleted them fr0m my scan disk card. Help how can I get them back.

What happens now, when you open iPhoto? Are the photos not showing in the library or iPhoto still crashing?
What is your current iPhoto version?
If you imported the photos into iPhoto, but are no longer seeing them after the crash, try if rebuilding your iPhoto library will find the photos inside the library. Rebuilding might collect them in a "recovered" event.

Try resetting your preferences.
Hold down Ctrl Shift Alt keys, then start Photoshop. You should get a reset dialog.
If that somehow doesn't work, use Windows System Restore to go back to an earlier system state before this happened.

Please try pressing '''Alt''' + '''F''' on the keyboard. This brings out the full '''File''' menu. You can also try to close a tab by pressing the middle button of the mouse when the mouse pointer is over a tab, or clicking on the '''x''' on the right edge of a tab.

I am making little clips on iMovie with my own pictures.
Trying to put my pic in a special Map Clip.
But pictures are not loading in this Map.
Also lost my IMovie icon on Launchpad and don't know how to put it back.
Is there a more simple way to bring my pictitures to iMovie to use them for a clip.????
Allso having problems with iPhoto....
pictures are mutiplying.....sometimes get 4 or 5 copies of them.
Don't know how to fix that.

If you mean you have lost the iTunes icon from the home page, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

All info gone after software update, how can i get it back?

New G3, notified me I needed to sync w/itunes to get the new update. After syncing, and various problems and errors, it said i needed to restore my iphone... everything would be wiped clean +but i could get it back+ after the update was complete. Update is complete, where is the option to put all of my stuff back on my phone? My contacts, my appointments, my alarms, my life... aargh!

Turns out those error messages it gave me were because it didn't sync properly and create a backup. Which is why when I restored from backup it didn't reload my old info. Instead of assuring me that I would have the option to restore my info, it would have been nice had it told me that a backup hadn't been completed and that restoring my phone without it would leave me with nothing.
Tech support had me use my old SIM card to import my old contacts. This worked, but I've entered contacts since getting the new phone that aren't on my old SIM. And doing so left me with a bunch of re-organizing to do (deleting, combining, entering First and Last name fields...) it took me several hours.
I didn't get my appointments back, cause my old phone was just a phone, and that info wasn't on the old SIM, but I'm REALLY glad I got my contacts.

Lost notes data on 3 update - how do I get it back ?

I had a series of notes on my iphone.
I have synched regularly with my mbp.
However after doing software update on iphone to version 3 my notes have gone.
Where is the raw data stored in OSX ? maybe there is the old file there that I can rename to replace the new one.
Anyone know ?

The backup data is stored in an encrypted file and if you've been syncing with iTunes 8.2 and had notes syncing enabled (prior to updating your iPhone), it'll be where others have mentioned it would be (look up). The best solution I can see it to do the following:
1. Make sure you've saved a copy of your old backup (for your protection)
2. Make sure that you've got your most recent data synced to your desktop - notes, contacts, calendars, etc
3. Make a new backup of your iPhone (and set aside a copy of this, too)
4. Restore from your OLD backup
5. Sync your iPhone and make sure all of your OLD data is now appearing on your iPhone and on your Mac
6. If it is, then you should also now have all of your new data on your iPhone as well.
It's certainly a little complicated, but it's about the only way you're going to be able to get everything in one place.

There is no facetime icon. If you want to facetime with someone you can do that by going to the contact details for that person in your address book and and there is a facetime icon second from the bottom on the right
It can also be done using the keypad when in a call

Firefox lost my AOL FAVORITE P:ACES, how can I get them back

AOL changed their home page which on the OLD home page was MY FAVORITE PLACES. I t to tell FIREFOX to SAVE IT ,which I did and on the day AOL switched to the new format my FAVORITE PLACES were gone

Have you checked all your homescreens and app folders for them, and do they show on the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right and type in Safari or Mail) ?
Safari can be hidden via Settings > General > Restrictions > Safari being 'off', so you could check that as well.
If you still can't find then try a reset and see if you can find them after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot
There is also Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will reset the layout of your apps and might make it easier to find them.
