HT4623 I'm unable to update any apps. How do I fix it?

I'm unable to update any apps in the App Store.  It asks my password and acts like it going to update, showing circle then goes back to update square.  It has been like this for months.  I have the newest software for iPhone 5.  It is like this on all my devices. Can someone please help me?

reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes
