Use your backup copy of your old computer to put everything on your new computer, then sync the iphone to that comptuer.

If the machine was upgraded to Lion 10.7.x by the original owner then you bought an illegal license of Lion and also of any other applications that the seller said came pre-installed, this assumes the seller did not include original install media. In that case you need to contact the seller for the original install DVDs that came with the machine re-install up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then purchase Mountain Lion ($20) and the applications you want or need. You cannot use someone else's apps without violating the license agreement. The apps are tied to the owner (via Apple ID). The right thing to do would be to update and start fresh.

When I recently got a new MacBook, I set it up with Times Machine using a backup of the old computer. It could not have been easier. If you use Time Machine - that will copy the contents of the old Mac to the new Mac - iTunes library included. You will have to authorize the new Mac in iTunes - Store>Authorize this computer.
There are ways of copying the purchased contents from the iPad to the new iTunes library as well if you need to do that. But as long as you have the old Mac - copying the library and putting it on the new Mac makes the most sense. -

Some of my songs in iPad Mini with RD disappeared all the sudden and I need to redownload it again. Same thing happen to my iPod touch 5 too. What's wrong with it? Is it the iOS problem?
Delete the music in your iTunes library, then go to iTunes store, Quick Link, 'Purchased' to redownload again.

My problem is that my IMac is getting really slow and i want to fix that, i havent buyd any memory chips yet but i think i will but i want to restart my whole computer so its like all new bought and its not going to be slow anymoreAnd my computer is getting warm all the times so the "wind blower" has to turn on and disturb me so much!!!

We Have set up 5 differNet apple devices ( iPhones, I touches and iPad) so that they all use the same apple I'd and password. I would now like to give each family member their own apple I'd and password. Can I do this without loosing any of the data on each persons gadget? Thanks!
I think I will do this. I will use my apple ID and set face time and message to work independently. That solves one problrem. My other problem and maybe my bigger problem is that if I am using my apple ID, how do I iflter all of this so that my kids don't see my contacts, get my apps, etc. ?

I was never assiduous in synching my pad. I think I did sometimes. Doesn't Apple know what I bought from them? How do I tell them I want to switch from the old dead one to the new one? Am I in the iCloud? I don't know!
You have a few options
1. If you sync with your computer on a regular basis. Then you connect your iPad to your computer and select the option on your iPad that says "Restore from iTunes" [or Connect to iTunes].
On your computer, select Restore from Backup and select the latest date for that backup (if more than 1 is present). This will restore your iPad's apps, documents, pictures, email accounts, etc back.
2. If you used iCloud to back up your iPad. When you get your new iPad select "Restore from iCloud" and the rest will happen automatically. It may take a few hours so plug it in to the wall outlet and let everything restore.
Here are somethings that won't restore
A. Apps that have been removed from the AppStore for any reason. Even if you paid for it, you cant get it unless you sync with your computer.
B. Music that have been removed from the iTunes Store.
C. Movies, TV Shows that have been removed from iTunes Store
3. If you're starting a FRESH new iPad. You can set up your account. Use the SAME Apple ID as you did on your old iPad. If you don't remember which email address you used then search your emails (on your computer) for iTunes receipts. After you link your Apple ID to your new iPad; you want to go to the AppStore and select Purchased and then download the apps that you want to have on your iPad. -
I just decomissioned my windows pc in favor of a new (to me) MacBook Pro. When I attempt to sync my iPad I get a warning that I will erase all content on the ipad in order to sync with the new computer. How do avoid erasing all the data on the iPad, and get the iPad and the new Mac/iTunes to be friends?
Best option is to use Windows Migration Assistant as Ralph noted.

Or if you only want iTunes (Migration Assistant let's you choose) copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder from your PC to /Music/ on the Mac.

I can not get a webpage to stay the size of the browser with out zooming in every time i go to a web page. With out zooming it just stay small with white on both sides. How do i get it to stay the size of the browser and stay that way Have no trouble with my internet explorer doing this on my new computer. or fire fox on my old computer.
