I updated to the new IOS and I cannot access the App Store -- everything else works -- even ITunes -- what do I do to fix this?

1. Make sure internet is working
2. Make sure you are using the latest software
3. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Time Zone is correct
5. Try restart iPad

Use iTunes on your computer. With the iPad connected, sign into your Apple account and check for updates.

If you are having an issue with updating your iPhone, try it through a different method like in iTunes or through software update on your iPhone in settings. If that does not work then follow the steps in the article below to force a restore on your iPhone. Make sure to back up first and you can always restore from that back up once your iPhone is up to date. The second article will assist you with the back up and restore process.

It is highly unlikely that any iOS update could cause this.
Try a restore as new, if the problem persists, take the device to Apple for evaluation.

I also can't call the helpline because it won't let me leave this screen on the phone that says "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iPhone to iTunes to activate it, or try again in a couple of minutes." What it says on iTunes after I fill out the activation info is "There was a problem activating your iPhone. Please contact Verizon Wireless at 1-800-922-0204 to have this iPhone added to your account. Click Continue to be able to explore its features and the App Store." - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug.
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTune has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTune.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

The Apple ID for future purchases is in Settings>Store>Apple ID. However, apps have to be updated using the Apple ID used to originally purchase them. This can't be changed. If the App store is asking you to provide a password for a different Apple ID when you are updating apps, it's because this ID was used to purchase it originally.
