I upgraded my iPhone4S to iOs6 and now Siri does not understand me. Siri responses "having trouble understanding you, try again". Is there an updgrade for Siri? I have been searching all afternoon for a glimmer of a solution. Any suggestions?

Depends. If the page numbers can be located by their location on the page then a script can be written to redact that area, and then add new page numbers in their place (or somewhere else).

i lost my iphone4 yesterday..i have find my iphone apps in there and its updated to IOS 5. i wonder if they would be able to still access my accounts in there after i remote locked it.? its offline whenever i checked till now.. im wonderin if ist safe coz all my emails are there and all personal info..i hope someone could answer me..i reported to the police the ist step..coz when it happened ..policemen are there..then i went to the nearest MAC center and tried to track it..but its offline..so they asked me if i want to remote lock it..then i did...which i think the mcreason why i cant track my phone beacause its locked?? or not until they connect to wifi or 3g but its unabling them because i locked it..?
but when i do remote wipe ..it will erase everything in there and i cant track down the phone anyomore?

I had the same problem- go to Utilities, General, Use Side Switch To, and change it from Mute to Lock Rotation- this solved the problem for me.

Mine is i-phone 4 16G. Feel so sorry upgraded to IOS 7.0.4 which slow down my phone dramatically and less responsive with the touch screen. And in times it frozen on me, the worst. Anyone has the magic wand to downgrade the IOS back to 5 o 6...

I have an iPhone4, used and locked to the UK network. I need to pay for the phone to be officially unlocked.
In the meantime we used it as a device to check emails and games etc.. We put a pass lock and after many failed attempts we forgot what it is. Now the phone is Disabled and iTunes can not fix it since it can not update the Software without the phone being officially unlocked..
any idea how to do this?

HelpThe easiest solution would be to use your backup, if you don't have one you have no one to blame but yourself.
If you also lost your extensions, preferences, and history, perhaps you created a new profile and are in the wrong one. Find out if you have multiple profiles and check the date-timestamps on places.sqlite or the files with bookmarkbackups folder Your current profile can be located typing about:support into the location bar then click on "Open Containing Folder" which places you in your current profile now go up one level to your "Profiles" folder to see if you have other profiles as well.
If you are in the correct profile see if you have a bookmark backup that you can restore in your current profile. Mozilla will create 5 or 10 backups (one per day of use) the number of backups can be changed they were increased from 5 to 10 (but that won't help now, you have what you have). Use "Ctrl+Shift+B" to get to the Bookmarks Library List then "Import and Backup" menu then "Restore" if you see a list of several days and on the day before your problem you might use that or even the day of the problem to restore your bookmarks. If available easier than using your own backup and is done with Firefox up -- but is not a substitution for the need to back up your user files to an external device.
There may be a bookmarks.html file in your profile but it is probably way too old to do you much good.

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person -
me and my wife are having trouble udating our iphones with itunes our passwords havent changed. when i try to udate my iphone her email address comes up and wants her password and when she udates her iphone apps my email address comes up and sometimes it says the passwords are incorrect. is the problem that i used my credit card . we dont buy apps we just get the free ones. she tried one time to use her credit card and it would not take the card no. can u help me with this problem. just to let you know i did the other day change my password thought that might help but it didnt

5th generation ipod not detected by my windows xp. works fine on other pc. performed necessary steps to remove and reinstall itunes but having same issue. is there a driver i can download to pc then direct to that specific location when installing?
I have a similar issue - my iPod nano connects and is visible in Device Manager yet invisible in My Computer and iTunes. I've tried everything I can possibly think of to try and solve this myself, all in vain.
Mine is a nano 4G. I've been using it for quite some time without the slightest problem. I have been using WINAMP instead of iTunes to manage my darling nano.
Then, one fine day I bought a new computer and the nano would not show up in My Computer, though the nano display shows "Do not disconnect". On my old computer it worked (and still works) absolutely fine with win XP as well as with win7 (the later I currently use on my new/problematic computer, which I bought last summer and that's how long I've had this problem).
Of course, after several first attempts I gave up and installed iTunes. I've tried using the Apple support article "iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows":
- reset
- fully charged,
- cable works fine on two other computers
- in normal or disk mode makes no difference
- tried to find anything useful in the diagnostics mode
- reinstalled iTunes several different times since then to the latest version
- I've unplugged every other USB device except for my mouse and keyboard and tried several different USB ports on my motherboard (USB 3.0 and conventional), as well as trying different USB- related options in my BIOS.
- I've never used any Mac with this ipod
- I've tried fiddling with the win7 Services by stopping and restarting them and of course
- uninstalling the iPod drivers in Device Manager. After such an uninstall the ipod would automatically be recognised and "ready for use", i.e. being invisible in My Computer.
- Attempted to find any possible third-party conflict with msconfig or the possibility that my ipod is being confused for a network drive (for which I've disconnected my HDD, leaving only my SSD with the OS).
Sometimes, iTunes would note that iPod service (or something, can't remember exactly) failed to install properly and asked to try and repair it. I would click YES! and voila - no change! The ipod would rarely show up in iTunes on my problematic computer like this:
iTunes would warn me that the nano would need restoring so I would try and do it on my haunted machine upon which iTunes would freeze like you seen in the picture.
Despite this, I've updated and restored the nano on my father's computer to the latest version without any problems. This though, did not solve my problem in any way.
I can load music to my nano through my old computer (which for me is a real pain and hassle) and the gadget works normally in terms of its disconnected functionality.
I've taken my nano to the local service for repair and they said it was fine. Mercifully, they didn't charge for the diagnostics service (gee, thanks for not ripping me off!).

That is my sad story as far as I can remember. It's most likely something with the drivers or something along those lines though I'm out of ideas at this point.
