Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

Delete the data for the guest network on the iPhone, iPad, etc.
Log on to the "Guest" network
On the home screen, tap Settings, tap Wireless, tap on the name of your wireless network, tap Forget This Network.
Now log onto the network that you want to use, and the iPhone / iPad will connect to that network automatically in the future.

I did the software updae 7.0 to my ipad and its now showing the itunes symbol and the usb cord

i bought a new ipad2 everything was working then i did the upgrade oo 7.0 and the ipad never worked after it shows the ipad symbol and the usb cord!

Sounds like it'sgone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you will need to connect it to your computer's iTunes and you can then restore/resync your content to it

Before i was able to use an app then cancel so the app is still not running, so the battery would not drain. Since I downloaded the IOS7 how do I stop the apps from running when I am done with the app.

Apple has never offered general email support, nor have they ever offered official email through this or any other forum site. Basic Apple tech support has always been via telephone support. Just the way they operate.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

make sure the mute button isnt on. then try resetting your phone by turning it off and back on again. if you keep having issues, then reset all settings under Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings

If you are trying to update via wifi, try connecting to your computer/iTunes and update. Make sure you backup befor updating.

If you are a developer, go to http://developer.apple.com, log in to the iOS Developer Program and download iOS 7 for your device. Note that any problem you have with iOS 7 won't be fixed by Apple.
If you are not a developer, iOS 7 will be launched in fall, so you have to wait. See > http://www.apple.com/ios/ios7
