HT4623 I want to update my software over 3G

My wi-fi doesn't work ,i want to update my software over 3g,,
What should i do?
Thanks,

Sorry, but I don't believe you can. The iOS updates are almost always too large for the limits put on downloads over a cell network. If your WiFi isn't working and you can't get to a place, such as an Apple Store, where it will work, you'll need to update through iTunes on your computer. See the section titled "Update your device using iTunes" in this support article:

    Hello Kewal,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to perform an update.  I recommend trying to update using iTunes, and as always, it is a good idea to make a backup first.

  • HT4972 i want to update my software version to 6.1.3. but my c drive runs out of memory and i cannot upgrade it at the end, but having to delete the files and gain  more space for the computer to operate... plz help me :(

i want to update my software version to 6.1.3.. but i have never updated this before and this is my first time.. im having 20 GB apps and music in my ipod. so when i click 'update and download' tab it starts downloading the new version and upgrading,... but afetr some time it says im having a very low memory in c drive and i would have to stop the upgrading...
can i use my external hard to save this download and upgrading files without using my c drive? plz give me a solution as im only having only 7GB of space left in the C drive

I would rather you delete/move other files to the external HD rather than downloading the update file to the external HD.
First try going here and delete any update files to regain C drive space.

Also, make sure that you have emptied your computer's recycle bin
You can try the manual update/restore method included here and download the file to the external HD

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard on both of my computers.
Some time ago, one crashed my computer and I had to reinstall the operating system and all applications.
After I had installed once Acrobat 9 Sdt in the computer, I wanted to update the software version 9.0.0 update to the same level as it was before the crash and that the other computer has version named 9.5.5.
The system for update from version 9.0.0 does not work at all. "There are no updates" listed in the dialog.
Can you advise how I get my Adobo Acrobat 9 Standard (Version 9.0.0) could be updated to the same level as the computer had before the crash.

  • HT201210 I received a pop up asking if I wanted to update my software. I accepted and the (long) process started. Then the update "crashed" and I was told an unknown error had occurred.

I received a 'pop up' asking if I wanted to update the software in my iPhone. As I always accept these messages to keep my phone up-to-date, I accepted.
A long (25minute) process started, but at the end of it, the process "crashed" saying an unknown error had been encountered!.NOTHING has changed with my computer of my iPhone, so I say this is an Apple problem. I cannot start or use my phone now - all that shows on the screen is the iTunes logo and a connectivity graphic - see attached photo

  • I want to update my software from 10.5.8

I want to update my software but everytime it say i need at least v10.6, i'm running off OS X 10.5.8 but can't find 10.6 on here just 10.6.1?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Snow Leopard is a paid upgrade. First, check that your Mac is compatible > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 Then, buy Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
After buying Mac OS X, make a backup of your files, insert the DVD and upgrade to Snow Leopard. After upgrading, you will have 10.6.3, so open  > Software Update, and install 10.6.8.
Now, you can stay with 10.6.8 or, if you want, you can see if you can upgrade to Lion or Mountain Lion. Snow Leopard is still supported and it works well. Also, OS X Mavericks will be launched this fall > http://www.apple.com/osx/preview

  • Forgot the passcode to my ipad. When I went to restore it, it asked me if I wanted to update the software so I said yes. It then went into recovery mode, I'm guessing, with the connect to iTunes showing on the screen. Now iTunes will not recognize it??

Forgot the passcode to my ipad. When I went to restore it, it asked me if I wanted to update the software so I said yes. It then went into recovery mode, I'm guessing, with the connect to iTunes showing on the screen. Now iTunes will not recognize it so I have no idea how to get it back! Help!!

Then you will need to try restoring it once more:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
       1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
       2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
                  * If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
      3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
      4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:
      5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:
      6. Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
    Additional Information:
If you have a problem getting into recovery mode then try: RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode.
Note: When using recovery mode, you can only restore the device. All user content on the device will be erased, but if you had previously synced with iTunes on this computer, you can restore from a previous backup. See this article for more information.

  • I want to update my software but im scared

i want to update my software with the latest one, 4.3, but im kinda scared and i dont know if i really want to update it because the last time i did (when i updated it to 4.2) everything in my ipod was gone. Songs, movies, videos, pics, apps. Everything. So im kinda traumatized. So if i download the new one, will it erase everything again?? please help. the new software sounds cool but i dont want to lose all my stuff in my ipod.
    Message was edited by: soapypowers

Just make sure you make a backup of your iPod prior to the update and that all music videos and other stuff is on your computer. That way if you have problems and the iPod ends ups erased you can just restore from backup and sync with the computer to get t all back,
