Hi, I'm not too savvy when it comes to IT. I think I have an iPhone 4. Am I able to update my phone?

To update your iPhone 4 through iTunes, just plug it in to your computer and open iTunes. Then click on your iPhone in the sidebar and to the right and click the option "Check for Update". Let your computer look for the update, and if there is one iTunes will prompt you to install the new iOS. Install it, and that should do it!

No. iOS 4.2.1 is the last OS supported on the iPhone 3G...if that's what you mean by "iphone 3."

No, Apple does not do trade ins. Sell the iPhone 4s yourself and use
the money received from the sale toward an iPhone 5. -

You do not have that option with iOS 4. You must update using iTunes.

I have the iphone 4s and its updated (ios 6.1.1). I've always had my group messaging set to OFF. Everytime I send a text to multiple folks, I find out that they were able to see everyone elses responses to me. My boss told me this morning that she saw responses from my friends/family from a picture I sent yesterday. Is there ANYTHING that can be done about this? It's important to be able to send texts to multiple people. I have to update them alot on my husbands illness. Help!
Group messaging simply puts all replies in one conversation in Messages. It doesn't prevent the behavior you experienced.
My suggestion which would be much easier in my opinion, is rather than do a text, send out an email and use bcc: , which will keep the audience hidden from each recipient.
Otherwise, if you're determinted to do only texts, the only way is to send your message to one person at a time. You can of course copy/paste your msg each time which might be helpful. -

I have the same problem. After updating to 6.1.2 my iPad 3,2 will not find Verizon network. It just says "Searching..." for ever. Any thoughts?

This relates to an earlier question I asked: I have an iPhone and can send messages to a galaxy, but the person cannot receive them; however, I can receive messages from the galaxy. I have only had an iPhone so the problem does not relate to a change in phones. Up until about 1month ago I could send to the galaxy and they could be read. Help!

You can see about purchasing an out of warranty replacement if it qualifies. They certainly will not give you a replacement, since it is more than likely user damage.
