My Ipod will not transfer songs. my old PC crashed and could not recover anything from it. When I purchased my new Dell, when I loaded Itunes back on to it my content library will only transfer over purchased Itune songs. I have tons of songs I downloaded from the old "CD" onto my new Itunes account from my Ipod. Any help?
so then technically I can't transfer the songs off my ipod to my itunes library? since it is one 1 transfer from pc to ipod...correct? So when I synch my ipod the warning screen comes up and says "there are content not in the library, erase and synch library to Itunes, only purchased songs can transfer." Can I leave the songs on my ipod and when I purchase new songs to itunes I can still transfer those correct? while having the others on there that wont transfer?

I have Windows Vista 64 bit.
I click on the bookmark and the address comes up on the bar, but it doesn't open. When I go to Internet Exlporer the website does work.
In addition, before I downloadedI loved playing Yahoo gin. But the new Firefox does not load it.
I love Firefox, but it looks like I'll have to go back to IE.
I've downloaded Firefox 4 again to see if that helps. It doesn't.
I'd like to go back to the previous Firefox and download that. This 4 is a pain.

I have a CAC reader that Firefox does not recognize. It is installed correctly as have all the necessary certificates and IE can use the CAC reader seamlessly. I do not need the CAC to log-on to my computer, just to log-on to certain websites (mostly military).
For users that need to change between certificates of their CAC card, I found in Firefox 4.x you have to import the DOD pki files. To do this follow the instructions at the URL below inside Firefox (do all 4). After successfully completing the imports, restart Firefox and when you get to a DOD website like "DISA web-mail" it will ask you to pick the certificate you would like to use. For the email certificate look at the details of each certificate and find the one that has your email address attached to it. This one you much use for all email certificate authentication.

My friend gave me a $25 iTunes gift card for Christmas, so I switched to the US store and spend most of it with 11¢ remaining. *Now I want to switch back to my original store, but I can't. iTunes keeps saying "You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores.*
You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

Your content will only be where you put it. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. You should get the option to merge the data when you sync. -
Installed windows 7 over windows 8. Now I want to recover back to windows 8.

OK so here is my situation. I bought a Pavilion G7-2235DX with windows 8. I made one recovery disc becuase I was impatient and figured that my recovery partition would be enough.
I decided immediately to install windows 7, and I installed windows 7 and kept the GPT/GUID partition tables intact and left the recovery partition.
Now I want to go back to windows 8.
I hit F11 and entered the recovery program and selected the notebook harddrive as the recovery method. However this is when I get an Error that says no bootable disk and asks me to insert a boot disk and I cant continue.Hi:
Normally the recovery partition won't work when you install a non HP-imaged OS on the C:\ drive.
I would imagine your only way out is to order recovery media for your notebook from HP.

I just bought this movie "Godzilla 2014" but it won't show in my Movie Library. I closed my Itunes and put it back on again but still won't show up. I checked my purchased list and it shows that I recently bought the movie but when I checked the itunes store it wants to buy the movie again. Please help me with this right away Apple.

hi, have a iphone/macbook itunes prob. i connected my phone to mac to add songs, and it wiped 99% of music from my phone. on the mac it still lists the songs on my phone but they are greyed out. can anyone help? very frustrated and want my music back.
I am having the same problem. I have just tried this. Unplug iphone > open itunes > delete all music from itunes library > close itunes > re-open itunes > add music from original folder > plug in iphone > select songs > press sync > unplug iphone using eject button onscreen > checked phone .... still nothing in music folder on phone. On itunes the "On this iphone" tab the songs remain there but greyed out.

i have iphone 3g. i was working well. about 2 months earlier i bought an app of $2.99. after then every thing was okay. but last week i installed some free games and 2 days later itunes send me a reciept via email and you guyz charged me $34. now whenever i try to install free apps they want my billing info. please i need your help and want those money back.
$34 for free games , i will show u the reciept. if its not possible to get the money back i will forced to take proper action.
thank you sir /madam.The games might be free but I think you've clicked In-App purchase which cost money. You are warned before you accept the In-App purchase. You not that young and you can read so take action if you must. It's your own fault and all purchases are final. Good luck.

I Downloaded something onto my computer and now when I click onto safari yahoo pops up instead of top sites I know certain changes come along with downloading but if there is a way back to top sites and google as my search engine I need it!! I'm not one for change and I love the whole original display that the macs have to offer when you first get your mac so thats why I really want top sites back also it was great when your in and rush and so much easier!! If i selected to "Create a new backup" and then canceled that option but want to go back and select "Inherit backup history"; how do I go back and do that since now when I plug in my external hard drive, that option doesn't appear anymore?? Any Help? I bought a MacBook Air, but decided to return it for the newest model, and I wanted to back it up so that I can then back it up on my new MacBook Air. I didn't understand the option to Inherit or start a new back up, and therefore selected the option to create a new backup. I believe I should have selected to Inherit backup history so that when i back it up on the new MackBook Air, it appears the same as the one I'm returning.... Is there anyway that i can re-select the option to Inherit backup history for time machine?

Lost phone by transit...I just want my phone back
Ok so my iphone 5s which was in top condition because i went out and bought an otter box. So over time i released i started having problems with my speakers. For example: if i put my phone on my speaker the person on the other side could not hear me. So i checked my warranty and since i got the phone in January its still covered. The phone is an gold edition iphone 5s. I called apple and they sent me a box where i could place my phone in and ship it back to apple. Now i have done this many times before with my other iphones because for some reason i always get broken iphones without softwares. So i get the box on 09/13/2014 and on Tuesday night which goes to Wednesday mail time 9/17/2014 my phone is in the mail place waiting to be shipped. Now i go online 9/21/201 and see that for the service request is still on step 1. Now as i noted i have done this plenty of times before with apple and i have gotten a replacement/returned phone within three days. So since it hasnt moved from step one i was worried and contacted apple. They have no information on my phone or where it might be at all. Fedex has no idea where my phone might be. My apartment has had no returned products back to my place. So i contact apple again and apparently their customer service has no online chat you have to call. Thing is i dont have a phone and cant borrow one. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME GET MY PHONE BACK, MY LITTLE MIND TOLD ME NOT TO SEND IT IN BUT I DID ANYWAY AND NOW IM STUCK WITHOUT A PHONE AND APPLE DOESNT CARE. I WILL NEVER EVER SEND MY PHONE TO EVER GET REPAIRED IF I GET THIS ONE BACK. I PULLED ALL A.S IN SCHOOL SO THAT I COULD BUY MYSELF THIS GIFT AND NOW ITS GONE.

DO YOU THINK THERES ANY CHANCE I CAN GET MY PHONE BACK????I would assume you copied the tracking number on the package? If so, simply go to Fedex (or whatever carrier it was) and check that tracking number and/or call them to ask what happened to it. And/or you do have the record of Apple sending you an email about the matter?
If Fedex (or Apple) has no record and you do not have any proof that you shipped it, I don't believe that anyone can do anything. Not sure if your home insurance would cover this - probably not, but it's worth a phone call. -

If by 'un up-date' you mean you want to go back to a previous version you can't as its not supported by Apple.
As for the error message what did it say?
If you didn't make a backup before doing whatever it is you are trying to do then your photos are likely lost. -
I x off Firefox and work on MS Pub or Word, perhaps my email. If, for some reason I want to go back on Firefox, a box comes up and says it's already running - to close it and restart Firefox. I can't find where to close it? If I could re-open it, that would be fine, but to close it - there are no tabs, icons etc. So, I simply restart the whole computer and begin again. That's a long way round the barn!
SteveCheck the task manager (ctrl + shift + esc) and look for firefox.exe in the processes tab. If it's running, close it.
