Someone plz help this lost gurl i jus bought this ipod touch an its used an the sad thing is everyone i kno is not smart enough to help me update it. when i go into general settings under the about op there is not a op for updates ive done what i kno but mayb someone could help me please

The option to update without the computer (Over the air) was made available with iOS 5. If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

There is no download for 10.4.x or 10.5.x, there is a very slim chance you can get 10.5 by calling Apple, but usually you can only get it on eBay & such.
Tiger Requirements...

ITunes not recognizing my ipod need help plz

when i hook my ipod into my computer, the computer recognizes that my ipod is there. it makes the ding sound that windows makes when u add or remove hardware and the ipod shows up in my computer. When i go to update it with itunes 7 though, itunes does not seem to know that my ipod is there. it shows no signs of recognizing my ipod. what can i do to fix this?

i have a 80gb classic and it just stopped working all of a sudden. When i turn it on all it does is go to the apple logo and turn off. When i try to connect it to my computer it doesnt reconize it. what should i do.

With the iPod hooked up, I would try putting the iPod into [Disk Mode|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1363] to help the iPod stay powered on and mounted in Windows "My Computer" as an external drive. If you are able to get it to stay mounted, I would attempt to reformat the iPod using the tools provided by Windows, and then [Restoring|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1339] the iPod via iTunes.

Frozen ipod..HELP PLZ

i had my ipod nano for about 3 dayz now..and itz been frozen almost all day..nothing moves and the backlight has been on the whole time. i tried everything that this website said. i tried to reset it and everything nd itz making me pretty mad. so can someone please help me with other advice then the site gives you because i already tried it, and i even had it sit on the charger most of the time but it is still frozen

if you've tried this Resetting iPod if it appears frozen or doesn't respond and this Restoring iPod to factory settings then the next thing is the 5 R's here http://www.apple.com/support/
If that lot doesn't fix it then your nano should still be under warranty. Send it back and get a new one.

my ipod 20GB clickwheel without color is having some problems. you see it keeps showing the usb recharging adapter and a plugin on screen. I plug it in to the computer and it wont pop up my ipod on itunes and my ipod wont wake up and say do not disconect. if i try to turn it on or reset it it just shows apple than goes to that first picture i said on screen. Earlier model iPods needed to plug into the wall adapter to complete the Restore or Firmware Update process. If it is asking for an AC adapter, then you need to find and use one to complete the sequence. There may be a reason that yours is asking for one at this point....Either way, it wants what it wants.
As far as I know, there is no way around this requirement. Perhaps you can borrow one from a friend, an Apple Store or buy one somewhere (if you do not have your original one).

there is nospecial way to locate your iPod, Apple will not help. Your SN is only good for identifying the iPod as yours if it is found.
Change the passwoard for all accounts used onthe iPod and report it to the police. Also see:

Ah first time here, plz help! Flash / Premiere

Ok, I have been using Flash since way back. I'm now in CS5 and need a solution for this and since I have the CS5 master Suite I would think Premiere can do this following scenerio.
I have a flash presentation, the client needs me to add a voiceover track to the existing animation but the voiceover needs to be edited to fit. I need a solution where I can see the swf, add the voiceover.mp3 and edit accordingly.
Once I do this I woudl have to export the edited audio as an .mp3 and drop it in the .fla of the presentation.
Can this be done in Premiere and is there a tute for something like this?

Very glad that all worked for you.
Though I do not know it, it appears that Cubase probably has issues, such as I suspect with Audition. The choice of DAW is up to what the user has available.
PrPro has pretty good Audio-editing capabilities already, and when it falls short, I just reach for Audition (have not really put the newer versions of SoundBooth to a test, so cannot comment on any limitations there), even if I do an Export for a reference file for the Video. Keeping things in one program has many benefits, and usually saves a lot of time and effort.
Now, if SmartSound would just do their Sonicfire Pro 5 to work within PrPro CS5, like they did with FCP! That would save me a lot of reference Video file Exports, when scoring. They claim that it's in the works, but I have not seen anything new, on that front, for quite awhile.

PS - one of the biggest issues with MP3 source material, is when there are other "things" inside the MP3's, like album art, etc. Nice that yours worked fine.
