HT4623 "Install" is not avaliable although there is an update on my phone

I use the cable between my phone and computer.
Itunes start and says that there is a new update to my phone - "do I want to start the update not?"
I say yes
And then it stops because "the it couldn't take back-up (copy) because the session couldn't start with the phone"
Please start from the beginning.
So I can't update my phone
What can I do?

Disable the security software on the computer and try again.

I bought an Adobe master colection and choose Arabic language to instal on my macbook Pro.
But I can't type in Arabic, I either get boxes or separated alphabete and when I tried to change the type prefrence there was no arabic languages?

Do a File --> Info on the apps, then disable all alternate languages on the info panel to enforce using a specific one. This should work, if you are on OSX 10.6.5 or below or something liek that. Later versions require to edit the package contents and remove the alternate languages completely. I'm sure a web search will turn up some helpful instructions rather than my mumbling on my fading Mac memories...

yes you can. if you have itunes version 10.6.3, you will get iOS 5.1.1
if you have itunes 10.7, you will get iOS 6.

Now my phone keeps shutting down and when it opens, it only shows the apple sign and then a wire as if telling me to connect to iTunes. My phone has been like that for almost two days now. I went to 3 apple stores near me, the apple experts werent there. & then i went to a shop & the man there asked for 160 LE for updating a software on my phone :/. Why should i pay when it's honestly apple's fault that they didnt say that this update was for only iphones 5 or whatever, why do i even get the update on my iphone 4s when there's clearly no escpae from this "Recovery Mode" and no help from anyone?

Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

I am not able to apply my Illustrator update

I have a PC with Windows 8. I bought creative suite 6, it says I have installed all available updates for Photoshop, although there is one update for Illustrator I have been unable to download (I only get the message when I open Photoshop though). I have tried 4 times to download the illustrator update with no luck, (both from my computer and trying by accessing the link on your site). Is this what the problem is, and does that mean I won't have problems with my software suddenly un-activating itself?

My main problem is that when I open Photoshop I get a reminder to activate it (when it's already activated) and I was concerned this may cause problems.
I have creative suite 6 and use a PC with windows 8.
I only mentioned the update for Illustrator as you asked if I had updated everything, but as it's Photoshop that gets the message to activate it, I don't think an Illustrator update would be causing an activation reminder message in Photoshop would it?!
The problem I am concerned with is why I keep recieving a message to activate Photoshop when it has already been activated.

So that would be an iMac G5 (PPC) and not only is there no Java update, neither of the recent updates from Apple for Leopard will work for you, either. Your only choice is to disable Java in all your browsers (Safari instructions http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5241) and perhaps even:
Disable Java System-Wide in Mac OS X
Open the Applications folder and then open the Utilities folder
Launch the “Java Preferences” application
Uncheck all the boxes next to “Java SE #”

Sounds like your phone was hacked to use with your carrier. Updating it has relocked the phone to it's original carrier. You will not get the phone working again without a SIM from the original carrier.

An update tries to run, but an error message stating "The update could not be installed. Please make sure there are no other copies of Firefox running on your computer, and then restart Firefox to try again." I can't open Firefox

I click on Firefox and it says that Firefox is installing your updates and will start in a few minutes. Then I get "The update could not be installed. If I do that, do i lose all of my bookmarks, etc?

*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Trying to install the latest version of iTunes and when it is being installed I get the message "There is a problem with this installer package. A program quired for this install could not be run. Contact your support personel or package vendor."

I am trying to install the latest version of itunes and when the install begins I get the message "There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program required for this install could not be opened. contact your support personnel or product vendor". I ran a troubleshooting diagnostic on my computer and nothing flagged as a problem. I uninstalled iTunes and tried again and now I don't have any way to sync my ipod touch. Please help with any suggestions!!!

Just in case, let's try a standalone AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi install.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe, and select "Extract to iTunesSetup". WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup".

We've had several instances where we have had to run chkdsk on arrays with over 1m files. Average completion time is approximately 72 hours. The maximum downtime window they have available is the 64 hour weekend window. File sizes and number of files were
much smaller then than they are now.
The idea, in theory, was to use VHDs to compartmentalize the data into smaller volumes which could be more easily managed. It would also improve performance when transferring these compartments of data as they would use sequential read/write rather than
fragmented/random. This idea was never fleshed out in entirety, they don't split data up into little containers, but simply into big ones per project. Hence the 11m files in one container that I am currently trying to diagnose.
Some other important facts: The VHD in question is mounted in B:/project/ as this server also allows remote workers to log in, but they are restricted to see only data in E:. Disks A-D are hidden via group policy.
Update: icacls is failing on a large number of files within this dataset. I counted the path characters to ensure it wasn't the 255 character limit I was encountering and verified that the paths being blocked are only about 150 characters long. Once it finishes,
I'll have to try taking ownership and then re-running it. At this point I still have no idea how long to expect. I'm running out of time as the environment will be in use again at 9AM tomorrow morning.
