HT4623 IOS 6.1.3 problems

iPad mini has lost icon for Safari and App Store. It will not sync wirelessly OR through USB connection with Mac Book Pro 13"
Tried hard set. No luck. When you hold down an app to delete, you get wiggling icons but no "X" to click to delete. Any one else dealing with this??
Thanks for any help you might give. I'm giving a workshop for teachers in a few days and I really need to get this resolved!

HT4623 iOS 6 auto-lock problem

Since I have updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6, the auto-lock button doesnt work anymore.
In addition, after pushing the button, my iPhone starts to oscillate between the "power off" and "unlock" pages.
The same behavior happens also during the execution of different applications after a few seconds.
Under thes conditions, my iPhone is now unusable.
No clear for me how to step back to iOS 5 until this bug is fixed by Apple.

I use assitive touch as well but not because I need assistance. Some things I just find quicker to do by using it.
Since updating my iPhone 4 (not S) to iOS 6 yesterday (OTA), I'm also experiencing Auto-Lock not working 100% of the time. I've always had the auto-lock time set to it's 2 minute default and under 5.1.1, it has *always* auto-locked. Then today, I put the phone down for about 30 minutes after a brief use. I came back to the phone to find the screen still on with the battery level dropped as well cause of it. I had NO additional apps running...
I am experimenting now and it *seems* that if auto-lock is set to 1 minute, it will auto-lock correctly. It may be that the 2 minute setting is what's causing the issue. As I said, I'm still testing this, again with no additional apps running in my testing...stay tuned.

As long as it was factory unlocked and not unlocked illegally then yes you can update with no problems.

Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again...

How can I fix my ipad 5 from dropping my internet connection

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. i called rogers and asked them about this and they said its a ios 4.3.3 problem i called apple and they were like too bad. we dont know theres a problem and its all over google if u look for it its making my phone very hard to use for work thinking about going back to my htc phone if this doesnt get fixed soon

Do you believe everything you read online from people you do not know?
I've never experienced a dropped call on my iPhone and I always update to the latest version.
Have you tried basic troubleshooting steps?
Why does everyone assume Apple has to fix the issue, quite honestly, when a call drops there is no way to tell which end it got dropped on or if the network simply dropped the call.

IOS 6 wifi connectivity problem with iPhone 4s

After recently updating both my iPad 3 and iPhone 4S to iOS 6, I began to have problems with my wifi connection on my iPhone. When trying to connect to my home wifi, the iPhone seems to connect but then brings up the "Log In" screen with an Apple website loaded saying the page cannot be found. However my iPad, again also recently updated to iOS 6, has no problem connecting to wifi. Has anyone else experienced this conflict and is Apple working to correct this? My router is a standard U-Verse "2 wire" device. I have performed all the quick fixes I could think of such as restarting the router, restarting my phone etc. please help!

I have a similar fault with my Lexus ct200h fsport, updated to ios 8.1.1 on my iphone4s 64, and the bluetooth sometimes disconnects during calls then re-connects again (by this time the person on the end has hung up) .but bluetooth audio works fine. very frustrating!!

I've got a problem with my IPhone 4 since I've updated to IOS 6.0.1. After the call I'd like to end the call but the picture on the screen becomes magnified
so that you cannot see anything and the screen is not reacting. I need to restart the phone. But 7 or 8 times daily to restart the phone is not really convenient.

Downgrading your ios is unsupported by apple. Go to settings, general, accesibility, zoom off..?

I try to update my ipad2 ios 5.0.1 to newer version 5.1.1 but always end with failed message. Try several times, still the same. Pls help.

Make sure your iPad has at least 50% ( which I think is how much battery it says) or it can't update.
I don't think that is you problem but just to be sure.
