I lost my Facebook app some how I tried to re download it said I need ios5 I can't find a down load for iOS 5 how do I fix this problem either download old facebook app or get iOS 5 I have iOS 4.3.3

You will need to update your iPad. Since you have iOS 4.3.3 you will need to connect your iPad to a computer with iTunes and update through iTunes.

My iPad says that Facebook app is installed but i don't see it anywhere

I recently restored my iPad 3 (iOS 7.0.2) and when I downloaded all the apps that i have again, facebook app doesn't appear in the homescreen and i can't open it from the app store.
What should I do? I'm tired of restore my iPad again and again in order to fix iOS's 7 problems...

Is it on another page or in a folder? iOS 7 folders have pages too now.
Swipe down from the middle of your screen and search for it.
Check your restrictions:Settings > General > Restrictions

Am currently on my second iPad Air in as many months. My original purchase being replaced under warranty as Safari crashed continuously and Apps opened, then closed. Recently, my replacement iPad has been doing the very same thing, day in, day out. Having just spoken to the most patronizing Antipodean 'Apple support agent' who told me I should never have been offered, let alone given a replacement iPad, he then told me I'd need to buy myself a PC or laptop (preferably and Apple product) in order for him to continue helping me to back up my iPad to iCloud in order so he could remedy my continuous crashing issues.
I told him I was going to hang up on him and ring back to speak to someone else. I did so. Albeit, I though I'd vent first on here.

Well, did you speak to someone that was able to help you? There are no Apple employees here to read your rant or that would respond even if they did read it? Did you get any satisfaction ?

Ipad crashes wen using apps

Hi can any1 help! My ipad constantly crashes! I have posted this b4 and have had replies as to wot to try resets restore downloaded ipad cleaner closed all apps but still it crashes! I open a app an within a couple of mins it crashes and returns to homepage very frustrating so any help would be appreciated!!

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...

IPad crashes when you open apps

You may have an app or apps that are corrupt for some reason so start by quitting all apps and then see what happens as you go along launching apps again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or .... Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I updated the Facebook app now it crashes every time it open it rebooted and tried again to open facebook and it opens then crashes the Facebook app after the update don't work now

I updated my Facebook application thru iTunes update system,once I did this and it finished the update I tried to log onto Facebook it opens then closes .. I rebooted my iPad and tried to open facebook again and it still did the same thing. What can I do ???? I don't want to reinstall it I'm scared it will wipe out all the game levels I'm at.

Do a search on the site and you will find many posts.
I deleted the FB app, power cycled the device (home and reset button until Apple logo appears), then reinstalled the app. Worked for me.

Click the button in the top left corner that has a bunch of bars across it. This should pop out a side menu. Locate the Apps section and tap More. This should reveal Chat.

4.3.5 for iPad crashes every single app

Just upgraded to 4.3.5 for iPad...every single app crashes when I launch it. Tried hard reboot, tried resetting. My last backup had been done with this upgrade somehow so I can't go back...any way to downgrade this useless software? I need to get rid of 4.3.5! It's evil!

There may be nothing wrong with it, but isn't it weird that I did a full reset twice and still had the same problem? Or that you have to download a free app and run it before anything will work? I've never had to do that with any other version personally. Maybe that's a common thing but I've never heard of it.

My ipad went *s up so I had to restore it. I was able to get all my other apps installed fine this one says I have to rebuy it.
I tried to email tech support by report a problem, but it says i didnt save my info when I clicked send after filling out their form. then it now says DB Connection Error.

How can I delete facebook app from ipad?

I tried updating 20 apps at once on my iPad.. the Facebook app is stuck on "waiting" and is darker in color.
It will not show me the little "x" when I press an hold the app.
I deleted the Facebook app from iTunes on my iMac and my iPod but still cannot get it off my iPad.
I tried several suggestions but nothing works yet.
Any suggestions.? Be much appreciated..Thank you.

Facebook App crashing on IPhone and IPad

I have an IPhone 4S and IPad 3. I have upgraded to IOS 6 on both devices and also have updated with the latest Facebook app. However, every time I update my Status in Facebook using the app, the app crashes on both devices. When I reopen the app, the update that I tried to post shows up twice in my News feed but as best I can tell, it is only posting once to Facebook.
Can anyone help me out with this? I have already tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but that does not seem to work.

HT4623 Just did the latest update on my ipad and now cannot use my Facebook app it won't open? Any suggestions?

I just did the update to iOS 7.1 and now cannot use my Facebook app on my ipad. It won't open, it just crashes. I can access it via the internet and can still use the app on my iPhone (which also has the update) but not on my ipad. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions?
