My iPhone is disabled because my kids renter the wrong passcode, what can I do?
If the iPhone is showing the red disabled screen then you will need to connect the phone to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the phone and re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the phone into recovery mode : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. -
HT4623 Iphone Battery affected by IOS upgrading
Regards
I am having problems with my Iphone 4battery, after I've upgraded the IOS. I used to have charge for the entire day (web browsing, text messages, phone calls, even I listen the radio). after I have accepted to update the sorfware, the battery life drops in 1 hour (100%-0%).
My cellphone, its in good shape and conditions, I have a contract for three years, and I dont have plans to change my equipment soon.
Regards
Maria VCTWhile you are certainly entitled to your opinion, just be aware that after every iOS update there is a group of users that report faster than normal battery drain.
The vast majority of battery issues are resolved by basic troubleshooting.
Most iOS users never experience battery issues or any other issues for that matter after iOS updates.
There is no battery issue to fix or any reason to believe that a fix for these mysterious battery issues will appear in the next iOS update. -

My Iphone 4 is disabled as a result of someone making too many attempts at guessing my passcode. I know my passcode and do NOT want to "restore" my phone. Is there a way for me to use my passcode to unlock it once it has been disabled?
Its frustrating because all of the help assumes you have forgotten your passcode, or that you can get in to your phone to get the ID number.

Iphone was disabled because i forgot the password
How can I unlock my disabled iphone4s because I forgot the password?
Forgotten Passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode
If you have Find My iPhone enabled, you can use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
Alternatively, place the device in recovery mode and restore it to erase the device:
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to shut down.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then restore the device. -
HT1766 My iPhone is disabled because I downloaded something from apple
I downloaded a new version of something from Apple for my iPhone 5s and now it is disabled and I need a pass code and I do not know it!
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:
Disabled Recovery-must use syncing computer. -

I have been told by two different AT&T stores to plug my phone into iTunes and it will accept it, and give me instructions to restore my phone. However, each time I plug it in, iTunes says that it can't access my phone because it's locked. What am I supposed to do now?

My iphone is disabled and its not synced. How do i restore it?
My iPhone is disabled because i forgot my pass code. But it keeps telling me to connect to iTunes. I recently got a new laptop so my iPhone hasn't been synced to it. I've read online literally every possible way to restore it. But every time i have to put my pass code in, but i cant. All i get is the emergency call thing. Please tell me how to restore it back to factory settings.
