HT4623 iPhone 4 keeps freezing and restarts by itself
I just got an iPhone 4 as a gift and I've been using it this past couple of days but it keeps freezing and restarting by itself, since I Sync it with my mac mini is suppose to be up to date, any tips?
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

It's a year since I got the phone, also the new io7 is updated. sometimes the phone freezes for like 5-10 minutes, then the phone restarts.. What's wrong with it?

Iphone 4 Keeps crashing and restarting, No help from Applecare
My iPhone 4 keeps crashing and restarting and AppleCare is unable to duplicate the issue or resolved the issue.
Recently my iphone randomly started crashing or it would freeze then i have to restart using power and home button, These are few things that I have already tried to resolve the issue:
1: Restore to factory settings and start over from scratch.
2. Deleted recently updated apps to see which one could be causing the issue, but the issue is still there.
3. Re-downloaded ios 5.1 and did a fresh restore.
After doing all this I called Applecare and they suggested to send in my phone and they will replace it and send me a new one since Im still having the issue after doing all of the above. Today I recieved my phone back from Applecare stating that the issue was resolved or not duplicated. So I did a restore once again and from one of the saved files that I had setup as a new phone. In the last 6 hours my phone has froze once, and crashed twice. I called Applecare again and he suggested to send the iphone in again and he will put in the notes to give it max time to detect the issue.
Are there any other alternatives? The closest Apple store is 140 miles from my house and Im fedup with sending in the phone and getting it back w/o the issue being solved. If you still have problems after going through ALL the recommended troubleshooting steps, then you likely have a hardware issue. You'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation. -
My MacBook Pro keeps freezing and restarting
Whenever I'm using my MacBook Pro for the last two years.
No matter what I'm doing it keeps freezing and restarting.
Ive had the logic board replace 2 , the hard drive replaced and the memory replaced all at the apple store in square one
I've also wiped the memory.
I'm losing my mind i dont know what to do. I was a new one but I've already spent my money on this. And i feel its not fair for me to have to buy another one since this one hasn't worked properly to begin with. I know they've replaced everything in but it hasn't fixed the problem and nothing has changed.

This is the second time its happened in the last hour.
Its been fine since i got it back on monday. But before that it just keeps doing it.
Any Ideas what i can do ? -
My ATT Iphone 3GS keeps freezing and shutting down, now won't turn on at all. tried to do an update and restore but it froze in restore at about 20% done, waited 5hrs for it to go, it didn't. Not sure what to do or where to go (ATT or Apple) to get help, how much it could cost? HELP PLEASE!

My Iphone 3G keeps freezing and is working very slow. I reset it to factory settings and then put everything back on to it didnt help it stiil keeps freezing. Then I got IOS4 but it still is freezing and very slow. I turn it off and then back on but that doesnt help. What do I do?

IPhone 4s keeps freezing and not connecting to wifi. Been like this for last 6 months.. Am real fed up with it.. Have reset, tried turning off but still not connecting.. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Does "have reset" mean that you restored the phone to factory settings? If not, you might want to give that a try. You will want to backup first so that you can restore your data from the backup after you restore the iOS software.
This will erase the phone and also download and install the most recent iOS version available for your device.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings -

My Iphone 4 suddenly blackout and restart by itself. After that it reach the restore screen. Tried to do restore but it come out Error (9). Anyone can help?
I tried to restore in normal mode and DFU mode, both of it still give me error (9).
I tried using other cable and computer but it still the same.
Anyone out there having the same issue that can share?
Is this a hardware or software issue? My warranty already over and have to solve this problem by myself.

Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

According to the message you have posted I suspect there could be a hardware issue on your Notebook
It could be possible that the Hard Drive might have bad sectors or Memory Module on the Notebook could be corrupted
Please perform the Steps as shown below:-
1. Please "Turn OFF" the Notebook
2. "Power ON" the Notebook and keep tapping the Escape Key during the start up to enter the Start-up Menu
3. Now here, Please select the BIOS option [F10] and under the Advanced or Diagnostic tab
4. You should find the facility to run tests on both the Hard Disk Drive and Memory
Note: Please perform these two tests and post back with the details of any error messages

Tip for Data Backup:
Remove the HDD and install it in a USB HDD Enclosure. You can then plug it into a USB port of a working machine. If there is any life left in the drive you should be able to browse it and copy files off to HDD of host machine

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP -
I have had my Droid Turbo for less than a month. This morning I downloaded and installed the upgrade for Advanced Calling. Now my phone has basically quit working. The phone keeps freezing and/or automatically restarting. Why and how do I fix it?
Unless I am wrong, ErinW_VZW, the upgrade for advanced calling is NOT an app - it is a system update and therefore cannot be uninstalled. Kinda scary that you do not know this.
LLATOO - My advice to you is to perform a factory reset. Look under System Settings -> Backup and Reset -> Factory Data Reset. This will obviously delete your entire phone so backup what you need. -
Iphone 5 keeps freezing and scrolling on its own
My iphone keeps freezing and scrolls on its own also it will open up apps at random times. When that happens I lock and unlock the phone to stop the freeze or self scroll. Can someone please help me with this issue
