when will firefox be available for ipad mini

Apple requires all web browsers in ios to use it's web browser framework.  Apple has done most of the work for writing a web browser app.  That is why you see so many web browsers in ios.  Firefox doesn't use this framework on the Mac.  It would have to toss much of the firefox code and replace it with Apple's framework.
If you need a web browser with more features, try iCab.

  • HT4623 iOS 6.1 is available for iPad 1?

Is iOS 6.1is available for iPad 1?

No, the first gen iPad only supports up to iOS 5.1.1 - my first gen iPad got noticeably slower with iOS 5.1.1, I doubt that it could cope with iOS 6

  • HT5457 What ios is available for iPad 1?

What ios is available for iPad 1 I don't know how to use my iPad

The highest iOS level for the iPad 1 is 5.1.1
If you are using iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

  • On iOS 7 on iPad mini how do I reset restrictions?

On iOS 7 on iPad mini how do I reset restrictions? I forgot the password and can not disable them

You have to restore the iPad to factory settings without using the back - if the backup contains the password for restrictions. If the backup does not contain the password, you can use it. But remember that if you use that backup, you turn back the clock on the iPad to the date and time that the backup was created and you lose everything that you have acquired with regard to data and photos since then.
However, when you restore to factory settings, you erase the iPad complete and will have to start all over again. Much of your paid content can be downloaded again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings

  • With ios 8.3 ipad mini apps sometimes do not respond when touched

a new problem occurred with ios 8.3 ipad mini applications sometimes do not respond when touched Fix it in ios 8.4

If it has NEVER been jailbroke, here are some standard repair procedures:
First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.  You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again.  Also, read this.

  • IOS 6 for iPad 1

Will iOS 6  be available for the iPad 1 . If not why doesn't Apple release it for iPad 1 ?

Ni, iOS6 will not be available for iPad 1. Apple has not released any reason
for this decision, and speculation is against the Terms of Use to which you
    agreed when entering this forum.

  • When the io6 comes out will it be available for ipad 3

When the io6 comes out will it be available for ipad 3

Yes it will be available for the iPad 3.
The new iOS 6 will run on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5; the iPad 2 and third-generation iPad; and the fourth- and fifth-generation iPod touch.
    Hope this helps!

  • A WORTHY CHOICE - APPLECARE+ FOR IPAD MINI OR A MILITARY STANDARD IPAD MINI CASE

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me which option will be a worthy choice in terms of overall economical gain - an applecare+ for iPad mini or a MIL-STD-810F certified iPad mini case?

iCloud is designed to maintain app specific content (documents in Pages, for example), synchonization of some information (contacts, Notes) and to back up the iOS device. It will not serve you well as an "in the cloud" hard drive. That isn't its intent. And you cannot run applications from it.
Any app or itunes item you purchase can be deleted from the iPad and re-downloaded at any time (assuming internet connectivity, of course), from thier respective stores. But, any data stored will be lost when you delete the app.
For data, you can use cloud based service such as DropBox (within some limts).
Games will vary greatly in size, but will be far smaller than video files. On a 16gb ipad, 6 movies might be pushing it, but you could probably mange 4 or so.
The price difference between 16 and 32Gb is I beleive about  £80. You might be better of saving up a bit before making that purchase. The only otehr options (such as external Wifi enable hard drives for media) will run you considerably more than that.
