updated my iphone 5 to 6.1.4 and now i cant up date app when available and can not down load free and paid apps since i down loaded the new iphone up date and will not syn ether , time to garbage it or can it be fixed....
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Hi everyone, I just got the new iOS5 update for my iPhone 3GS. I receive a message saying that "Your SMS mailbox is full. New messages cannot be recieved until you delete some messages." My husband and I share music in one itunes account for both of our iphones. We just got the new iphone 5s's and iin ttryinngto back up our old phones I have realized we SHARE one icloud as well. Can I create him a new icloud for pictures, contacts etc
You can have one icloud account and a different itunes account on the phone. I have my icloud account and a shared itunes account. He does not have to use the new icloud account as is ID in itunes and app store. He can keep using the old one.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!

I'm having the exact same problem. I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes on my iMac and ever since I did the store is a blank white screen. I can get my library content but the store is a no go. Is there any one out there with a solution? -
i just downloaded the new update for itunes and the itunes store wont open up it is taking a long time it still hasnt loaded since 5pm, i also cant sighn in either it just keeps on saying accessing itunes....
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I have Windows Vista computer. I am trying to upgrade my ITunes so can share files with other home computer. (Just got the new IPhone). I get this system error: The procedure entry point AVCFPlayerItemDurationChangedNotification could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundationCF.dll. Tries system restore and redownloaded...NOW Itunes will not even open. Can anyone help?
I uninstalled Apple Application Support, opened iTunesSetup with WinRar, and went down the list of msi's. AppleApplicationSupport was an install, all the others I did Repair. Did not have to reboot. Works okay now.

How do I get my music that was purchased on my Iphone, back after I got the new update?
I recently got the new update for my 3GS Iphone, and I had purchased some music on the Itunes on my phone. So I synced my phone right before the update, and backed it up. I did the update, and now I have nothing. The music that I purchased on my Iphone hadn't been put on my Macbook (I made a mistake there), and now its NO WHERE to be found. Help please???

I just got the new macbook pro about 2 weeks ago, it has lion. When the new mountain lion comes this summer, can i just update it on my macbook pro since it isn't so old? And if i can update it, do i have to pay, or is it a free update?
I'm in the same position, the store said they didn't know of any new release, so i bought my macbook pro to find out about mountain lion. I really hope that i'm not going to pay for the upgrade. My dad just got the new MacBook for Christmas. His friends all use PC's and they keep sending him these joke email attatchment files that he can't open on his Mac. One was a .wma audio file, presumably some were video files. Is it possible for him to read these files on his Mac with some aditional software or not? I haven't used Mac's predomanatly before so I'm unsure. What software should he download?
Playing video files from your computer is completely independent of the optical drive. You could play say a Windows Media file even if you didn't have a drive as long as that file is on your computer.
That said some report problems using VLC to play DVD's (hence using your optical drive).
But to the original poster..... Flip4Mac and/or VLC that was suggested should do the trick. About the only thing that would stop those would be a WM10 file that have DRM attached and there's nothing you can use at this point. It's highly unlikely that a bunch of jokes being sent around (great way to get a virus by the way, I know you probably won't and that's why you have a Mac but you get the idea) is using WM10 though. -

You would need to buy a new operating system (Snow leopard 10.6.x, or higher).
Before doing that, it would be best to check to see if your Mac can run the higher operating system.
Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac", then "More Info..." Copy and paste the information into a reply here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present). -
