HT4623 keep getting error message trying to update to ISO7
Time and time again I keep getting ERROR message when trying to update to ISO7 on my Ipad Retina and Iphone 4S.... help its driving me crazy

I finally got phone and ipad updated at 2300hrs tonight lol think I was lucky and got an opening in the rush ha ha ha well impressed with update.... got my alarm set for friday midnight to order 5S .... crazy gadget freak lol started with 3g , 4, 4S, missed the 5 as wasn't too impressed, but defo want Iphone 5S .... and I aint carzy teenager.... 60 next year lol Thanks once again for your help ...

All I can recommend is doing a reset (holdind home and sleep buttons until the Apple logo appears) and retrying. Other than that, a trip to the Genius Bar sounds in order. I'm really not familiar with dealing with iOS devices sans computer.

I keep getting error messages trying to download Microsoft Office 2013 ProPlus HUP
I am getting so frustrated. I have been trying to download this software for over a month. I'm not sure what else to do. I got a download link after I purchased the software through the HUP program. When I click it I get an error message that says "We're
sorry. We had a problem installing your Office program(s). Is your internet connection working? Do you have enough space on your main hard drive? Please try installing again after you have checked the above".
My internet connection is fine. I have tons of space on my hard drive. I have removed all trial versions of Office that came with the computer. I went into 'regedit' and deleted the office registry.
I even purchased the backup disc and tried that and get an error saying something like it couldn't 'mount' or something like that. I had a Microsoft tech who remoted into my computer and was trying to download it for me for over an hour and even they
gave up.
Anyone else having this issue and is there any suggestion on how to fix?
FYI, I'm using a Dell Inspiron laptop and have Windows 8.1 (recently upgraded from Windows 8). Would appreciate any help!

Try the following steps:
1. Check windows updates.
2. Try the Microsoft Fix it in this kb to remove previous install completely:

3. Reboot.
4. Try installing again.
This seems helpful on the issue.

I am trying to update itune and am geting canot find Update'itunes.msi I have tried to locate the file and cannot wit th phone upgraded to ios6 i canno cnnec it to itunes How can i solve this issue?
Help(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Every time I try to update my 4s or iPad 3 to ios6 I get an error MSG
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -
I am not able to load I Tunes.....I attempted to uograde and now am unable to start Itunes....I uninstalled it and reinstalled no luck. HELP?
Follow the below procedure if you are using a Windows based PC. I did not develop it, another forum user did, but I did insert 1 additional step in case you use a 3rd party software package to give your apple devices "Airprint" capability for your non Air Print capable printers (Such as Fingerprint).
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
Remove any 3rd party software which uses Airprint features (such as Fingerprint by Collobos)
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or by right-clicking the downloaded installer and selectingRun as Administrator.

I am trying to download the latest iTunes update; keep getting error message that says "The folder path 'My Documents' contains an invalid character". This also happens when I try to uninstall iTunes. HELP!
OK, never mind! I saw another question on the right side that addressed the problem, and it worked perfectly! Went to Major Geeks' page, downloaded the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, and was able to reinstall the updated version of iTunes! This community is super!

HT201210 keep getting error message when trying to update iOS to 5.1.1
I have had no trouble updating the several iPads under my charge at work, however can't update my own. Am using iOS 5.1 currently on original iPad. I go to settings and it looks for any updates available and I click install to 5.1.1 but keep getting error message saying there was an error when trying to update. I am on my home wifi on my iPad. What version of the Mac OS X do you have on your computer? The version of iTunes that you can install is dependent on the operating system that you have. For example, the current version of iTunes requires OS X version 10.7.5 or later.

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. in that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
