i have had that one with my ipad2
still do not know if it is the button or if it is a software issue.
you might try this one.
push and hold the top power button until the switch off slide appears.
after it appears let go of the power button, push and hold the home button until the slider disappears.
ofcourse this is tricky because the button needs to react
if it does not work the first time try again and the hold the homebutton and move your finger around the sides of the button(eg if the contact is bad this might force it to make contact somewhere)
i will wait for ios5 and see if it will fix my ipad2
i kow other people who did send back their devices but i only want to do that if i am 100% sure it is a hw issue

Mozilla, like many other software companies, thoroughly test their software before releasing it to the public and I'm sure that no problem you are having is intentional.
I do not work for Mozilla but I do have experience of releasing software for public usage.
Firefox has no way of knowing what other software is already on your computer and with millions of combinations it isn't always possible to test for every scenario.
You can go back to the old version of Firefox but that won't always solve your problem.

I had to reload my software and now the computer does not recognize my ipod

I had to reload my software due to a virus, and iTunes wouldnt work. Wound up deleting iTunes from the computer and reloading it. It works but lost all my library and the computer now does not recognize my iPod. Like it is synced to another computer, but both are the same as before. I want to restore my iPod library back to the computer and get new music, but nothing seems to work, plus I cant transfer new music to my iPod either. I am so lost.

Alright its weird, today I plugged in my IPOD and it didn't recognize it as an IPOD, but instead as a removable drive (I could only access my calander and contacts). So naturally I reinstalled iTunes and that didn't do anything. Being the genius I am, I tried the updater and all I managed to do was restore (delete all the data on my IPOD). For some reason, after I did that though, I couldn't update it, because my computer didn't recognize it at all (lol, I managed to mess up my situation more.)
Alright so now as it sits, all I have is an IPOD that can turn on and display the apple logo. My Computer also does not recognize it at all. All it does is charge it

ITunes on my computer does not recognize my IPod when connected to my computer

When my Ipod is connected to the computer, it does not recognize there is a device. I have been able to sync my Ipod to my Itunes in almost 4 months. Songs transfer to Ipod but the playlists do not. My ipod is ****** up!!!! grrrrrrr.....my ipod has now two new icons. the folder with the exclamation and the sad Ipod. I tried different things. I tried to restore the ipod but when I tried to do it, it said that no ipod was conected into the computer. then, I tried to put it in Disk mode. The first time i tried it, if was ok. I was able to it, but for some reason the updater was not working properly. Then, I solve the problem of the updater, so I decided to put my Ipod once again in Disk Mode, but this time it doesnt work??? what can I do!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont want to buy any other ipod!! I'm having a problem with my 2nd generation ipod nano. My ipod itself works fine! The thing is that my computer won't recognize it. It says something about there being some "malfunction" or other. Also, for some reason it doesn't want to charge right. Can someone please help me with this?

First of all, try another port on your computer. Some ports are not connected direct to the motherboard and do not recognize the iPod as well as those that are. Reset the iPod each time you connect it to another port.
Then try with the iPod in forced disk mode.
Putting iPod into disk mode.
Still no joy, see if any of these articles help.
Windows XP cannot detect an iPod.
USB drivers are not installed properly or are out of date.

Have you tried a different USB cable or connecting it to a different port? Does the iPod still charge when you plug it in? Does it appear in Device Manager?
If possible, connect the iPod to another computer to see if it's recognized there. If it ins't, it's a proble with your Nano, and if it is, it's a problem with your PC.

Let your ipod die. Then when it is dead charge it adn turn it back on. After that it should be fine.
