See if the iPad will accept the password after you restart it. It's worth a try.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You could also try a reset as well.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Those aren't apps; they're bookmarks to websites. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? If all else fails, you can just re-do the shortcuts.

Is it an iTunes backup or an iCloud backup? If iTunes, connect the iPhone, right click on the name of the iPhone under the DEVICES section in iTunes. Click on Restore from Backup.
If iCloud, on the iPhone go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. When the device powers back on, you will see the original setup screens you saw when your iPhone was fresh out of the box. One of these screen asks you if you want to restore. Choose Restore from iCloud backup.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data, but a reset can cure some glitches.

Don't use the backup afterwards, to rule out a software problem. If the camera is working again, restore from the backup.

DW CC has a new insert menu...is there a way to get the old back?

The new insert menu works differently than previous versions of DW. I'm using DW CC now. I was able to get the insert menu from the right so it sits along the top of my page where i like it. The new insert bar doesnt have a good "paragraph" option. When i click [P] from the insert menu in DW CC it plops this handy little code down:
<p>This is the content for Layout P Tag</p>
But i like the old way it used to work where i could highlight some text, click the P and then it would wrap the highlighted text inside of the opening and closing p tags.
Right now, i highlight copy and then click the new [p] tag and it just adds that code, ignoring what i have already selected. Not that great of a change IMO.
Anyway to get the classic view back in DW CC?

What you're referring to is the "Text" category, which was removed from the Insert Bar/Panel in CS6 at some point. I'm showing it in CS5.5, but not in the cloud version of CS6 or CC. You could add it back if you had the notion, but it would probably be overwritten during a future update.

In Preferences > Copy/Paste, I have "Text with structure plus basic formatting (Bold, Italic)" selected, and below that, "Retain line breaks" and "Clean up Word paragraph spacing". So when I paste paragraphs from Word, they're already wrapped in <p> tags. Even when pasting multiple paragraphs from a text editor, Dreamweaver still wraps them in <p> tags for me. So I'm not having to do a lot of manual paragraph formatting during production work. Should the need arise, I use the Format dropdown on the Properties panel.

What does " software update dos not end" mean?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

My Vista system crashed due to a corrupted windows file. When I reformatted C:/ & reloaded firefox & tbird, my bookmarks were gone. I have an image of the drive , but I don't know how to recover them and get the data back where I can access it.

Vista system crashed due to a corrupted system file. The C drive was reformatted, and windows reloaded, along with the rest of my programs.
Before the drive was reformatted, an image was made of it on a USB drive to save all the data. Now I need to know how to get the Bookmarks back for Firefox, and the Address Book back for Thunderbird.

Thanks for the quick response. It worked very well, for both Firefox and Tbird.
One hitch, until I remembered: those are all hidden files, in hidden folders. I had a devil of a time finding the "roaming" folder, until I found out how to unhide everything. In years past, I used DOS for that kind of thing. Explorer is much less user-friendly. Now that I know how to do it, it's simple.
