HT4623 My husband feels like his iPhone 4 messages have a virus!
He received a message with attached picture which has now disappeared. The other day he received a blank message from someone in his contacts and each time he went into messages that message would update with the current time
I have never heard of a virus on an unjailbroken iOS device.

You can track the iPhone from another IOS device or computer only if Find My iPhone was activated on the lost iPhone. -
We accidently set up my icloud email and apple id on my husbands new ihpne 5. Now on my Iphone 5 I can't get rid of it. I have deleted the account - nothing. I have done a complete factory reset and nothing!

What do you mean by make a new update using iCloud?
Do you mean restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup which is backed up with your iCloud account?

I do not know how to get the icon for facebook onto the computer screen. I have downloaded facebook from the app store and it is on IPOD,IPAD, two IPHONES, but can't get it on computer without opening it each time.
What am I doing wrong?You've downloaded a Facebook app from the Mac App Store on your Mac (you can't use apps from the iTunes app store on a computer, they can only be used on iPads, iPhones, iPod Touches), and is it in your Applications folder on your Mac ? If it is then you should be able to select it and click-and-drag it to your Mac's desktop. Is that what you mean ?

I'm afraid my iPhone 4S has a virus or has been hacked. Just in the last day or so my battery life gets used up a lot faster and I have all of a sudden started receiving a lot of spam email. How can I find out if my phone has been compromised?
Unless you left the iPhone in the possession of another person it could not be hacked...and unless it has been jailbroken it cannot get a virus.
An email account can be hacked at the service provider's end...this has happened a number of times with gmail.
Do a reboot, hold both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
If that does not help the battery situation, make a backup of your content and then restore to factory condition, Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, and then restore from the backup you just made.
Contact your email service provider and let them know you are getting material that could mean they have been hacked. -
Safari 5 extremely slow and unstable, feels like early beta

since i upgraded to safari 5 the browser is extremely slow on loading webpages, unresponsive and often can't establish any connection to websites at all. one time it even crashed.
the whole thing feels like an early beta. i have no addons or what so ever installed, safari 4 worked incredibly well before.
since i've read many similar postings concerning this issue i hope apple will be offering a fix soon...!I have the same problems! .. Some times I have no internet connection, but if I start up Firefox or google chrome, I get internet connection.
Often for no reason Safari stops responding .. It's a shame b/c it's extremely fast vs Firefox
Seems like I have to stick to Chrome until a update follows
btw. Nice job on the look and feel on the Safari 5 expecialy the combined history search in the address line looking forward to a stable release -

My husband has paired his phone using the remote app to the apple TV- I would like to do the same with my phone. Can we pair more than one phone to the tv using the remote app ?
Yes I believe so. Try it and see you can always delete the Apple TV from a remote if it messes things up.
But we have three remotes setup to do this. My iPhone and iPad and my wifes iPhone. She has a different iTunes logon but it seems to work fine -

I accidently backed up my husband's iphone immediately after mine without selecting "set up as a new device". His phone is now all messed up and is set up just like mine. Is there a way to undue this?

If your husband had iCloud setup on the phone and was backing up to it, then he could restore from his iCloud backup.
He can check for a backup in the Settings of his iPhone.
iOS device
Tap Settings, and then tap the iCloud icon.
Tap Storage & Backup.
Tap Manage Storage.

Help! I have a new iPhone 5s. My husband just lost his 4s, so I want to give him my 4s. We want to use same Apple ID so we both have access to itunes/apps purchases. Want to separate contacts, messages, mail, etc. I cannot change iCloud address on 4s iPhone. Also, when I tried to change iMessage I got a message that if I deleted my id (which seemed to be the only way to get my husband's I'd there), I would not be able to receive iMessages on any device.

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. How do I get access to Itunes if my husband has already downloaded itunes on our 2 computers and his iphone 4 is the device for one computer and the ipod touch is the device for the second? I have already set up my own itunes account, but it doesn't recognize my phone on either of the computers. Do I need to down load a second itunes software on the computer just for my new device. That would seem ridiculous considering we are married and share all of the music together. Please help
There is no "adding" a device. Simply plug the iDevice into the computer. iTunes should automatically detect the device when it is connected.
iTunes can sync/manage as many iDevices as you want... there is no 1 device limit.
