Did you try to update your iPhone 3G to iOS 6? That's an impossible upgrade, as iOS 6 cannot run on the iPhone 3G (which came out in 2008).
So I suggest resetting your iPhone. Hold the power and home buttons together for 6 or 7 seconds till you see the Apple logo. Hopefully your iPhone will proceed doing something after that. -

I updated my ipad 2 to ios 8 and it asked for a password, I never had a lock on this device, I guessed the same one I have on my iPhone but that didn't work, now it is completely disabled. I don't have iTunes and never plugged this iPad into a computer.

I completely understand how you feel. This has happened to me as well when I updated to IOS 8 when it first came out and now I can't get into my Ipad. The difference is that I actually had a passcode on it and just typed it in just like the million other times I did and it says that the passcode was "wrong." I thought it was just a mistake so I did it again and it said it was "wrong again, please try in 15 minutes." This went on for about a day and when I tried to login again with the passcode it completely locked me out to where it says to "connect to itunes" which I did but the Ipad doesn't show up unless I put it into recovery mode, which doesn't help either because I don't want to restore my Ipad until I back it up first.
I even took it to the apple store to the genius bar and explained my situation and they couldn't even help me, saying that unless you have a backup on your computer there is no way to recover your data on your ipad before restoring it. I thought that was completely ridiculous that it wasn't my fault that the Ipad is disabled after updating to IOS 8 and that there is absolutely NO WAY of recovering your data. I even asked if there was 3rd party software that could backup the ipad before recovering and they couldn't give me that information either.
I have been looking all around the internet for a solution but to no avail. I hope there is some information out there that can help us because there has to be SOME WAY that you can get into your ipad and backup without having to rely just on itunes and icloud. -

The phone was hacked to unlock it. It relocked when you updated. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you are not/never were an AT&T customer and you do not have an original store receipt from either an AT&T or Apple store in the U.S. for a no commitment AT&T iPhone, they will NOT unlock it.
Buy a new phone. -

After update, Itunes can't load. I get error message R6034, attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
I also get error code 7 (Windows error 1114), saying itunes wasn't installed correctly. It appears that I am not the only one with this issue. what is wrong with the latest update?? I tried removing Itunes and all of its components and installing it again, but get same errors and i have also tried doing a system restore with the same resultsDoublechecking. I'm from India and after update i can't turn off my 3G or i have the option to turn on/off LTE only. I don't want to be always on 3G because my battery is running out of life.
This is the same as what happened to customers in most of the rest of the world in a past release, and it's because carriers want to stop supporting older transport methods.
There's nothing you can do about it other than complain to your carrier, as they're likely the ones who asked Apple to remove the option. -

Photostream keeps your photos for download to other devices for 30 days, once they are gone, you can find them on other devices that you have enabled photostream to work with. So if you have Computer, and use photostream - they are in photostream folder in pictures or iphoto. If you didn't use computer, they are gone.
