First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.
Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Not sure what the problem is, but you may have temporary dificulty getting firefox 7 back again, IF it is not already installed.
(Updates from Firefox 6 to firefox 7 were apparently [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forums/contributors/707670#post-42774 suspended] yesterday. It appears an update probably firefox 7.1 is being released to correct a problem with it loosing some extension updates as it updated firefox in some instances. )
What exactly is your current problem

Are you asking about the predictive text that appears above the keyboard? Is this turned on in Settings?
Settings > General > Keyboard > Predictive Text > Turn this on
If it is already on try quitting the Messages app and the reset your iPhone. Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. The press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

If running 10.7 or later hold down Command-R at Startup.
This should invoke recovery Mode.
Choose Disk Utility.
Select your Hard drive. Inspect the SMART Status in the lower right of the window for "Verified".
Select the Mac OS X Volume (originally Macintosh HD) click (Repair Disk)
If errors, run again until it comes clean or gets stuck.
Report any error messages.

When you start the pre-swipe basically start the swipe with your finger from the lower left-hand corner of the hard case then upwards... not touching the actual screen first (make sure you start the swipe upwards from the actual hard plastic of the case before touching the edge of the screen)
then move your finger upwards onto the screen. Now I can pretty much do it every single time when starting from the bottom left-hand side. Let me know if this works for everybody else.
Still looking forward to Apple adding a couple of millimeters to the actual swipe area (higher) on the next update, This will make it much easier for everybody with cases to access the control panel. Cheers

When I take a picture with my back camera the pictures have black bars on the top and bottom. They do not come out 4 inches. How do I fix this?

Because the screen aspect ratio is different that the camera aspect ratio. The only way it could fill the screen vertically would be either to stretch/distort the photos vertically or to cut off some of the photos on the sides.

The battery is possibly unable to take as much power as a normal battery. It may need a replacement battery.

The background photo is on top of the links. Select it and move it to the back or add the background image via the Inspector/Page/Layout pane in the Page Background section.

For the apps:
- You can't delete the apps that came with the iPod
- Go to Settings>General>Restrictions and see if there is the Restrictions set that prevents deleting apps
