I set my phone to update overnight, woke up this morning and it showed an icon to plug the phone into iTunes. Upon plugging in the phone, itunes said the phone needed to be restored first. iTunes downloaded an update and went through the motions, then said that the phone was not eligable.
What do I do? It won't show anything other than the apple logo.Try updating to the latest version of iTunes.

My iphone 4s will not turn on, It was working properly and then I noticed the battery was at 1% I then proceeded to charge my phone like normal but nothing happened. The phone was unable to turn back on it's been two hours I already, tried to reset but nothing works. I tried different chargers, my ihome nothing is working.

Step 1: Turn off your iPod touch / iPhone completely and connect to PC / mac
Step 2: Hold down the Power button for 3 seconds
Step 3: Without releasing the power button, also hold the Home button for 10 seconds
Step 4: Without releasing the home button, release the power button and keep holding the Home button for 20 seconds.
Itunes will identify that you are in DFU mode. -

Same thing, but even worse because there also is not enough space to do the restore. I think I am screwed and lost everything. I HATE these updates, seems like there are always major issues!

Locate your original install disk (it's grey) and use it to restart your iMac by holding the "C" key during startup. Use the disk utility to repair your harddrive.

My iPhone 4 will not turn on and is just displaying the itunes symbol not the apple symbol. How do I fix it? My phone died and I went to plug it in and it just displayed the itunes logo. It is usually given as a communication error between Apple, iTunes (your computer), iPhone. Somewhere they are not communicating, so the iOS you are trying to install cannot be approved by Apple. Trouble shooting steps include, making sure you have Current iTunes installed, make sure your Hosts file of computer is not blocking Apple. Try restoring on another computer.
