my ipod comes on but the main screen is locked and says ipod is disabled connect to itunes. ive tried everything, how do i get past this screen?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I recently updated my phone to IOS 8.0.2 and now it wont turn on it just says to connect to itunes and when i do the only option it gives me is to restore iphone. It says it will delete all my media but i didn't do a back up what should i do?

If it's in recovery mode, the data is already gone. Why did you never back up your important data?

I've had a similar problem with my older 3rd gen ipod touch. It could be the hardware. Try holding down the home button and on button at the same time for a couple of seconds or connect it to itunes for a bit. I also leave it alone for a while then it seems to unfreeze itself. Are you saying it's still frozen after you connect it to iTunes?

HT4381 we have apple tv, a box that connects to an LG flat screen. it seems to be stuck in "accesing itunes store" it is in a circle and wont do anything else but have that on the screen. we do not know how to get it to do anything else?
