Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...
Re-Sync your Content or Restore from the most recent Backup...
Restore from Backup > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
Note. Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

The ONLY source of unlocked iPhones in UK is Apple retail Stores ( Apple owned )
all others will be locked to a carrier (did you buy from carphonewarehouse )
Only the carrier who locked it can unlock the iPhone
Apple do NOT unlock iPhones

What phone do you have? 4, 4s, 5?
You can find the serial number by sticking a paper clip in the little hole you see on the right hand side of your phone and popping out the sim card tray. Once you see the sim card tray the IMEI number and serial number will be written on the tray.

Have you made sure you are using the latest version of iTunes? Open iTunes on your computer. Click Help. Check for updates. Download the most recent version. Try connecting your iPad again after it has updated.

My itunes will not import songs from a cd. When i put the cd in usually itunes recognizes it and starts importing them but now it doesn't do anything. How can i get it to import cds again?!

See if it will import a CD using Windows Media Player.
That will tell us if it is a system problem with the whole PC, or just a problem with itunes.
