Anyone know why the wifi does not work on the brand new iPhone 5 with apple network?

Bought a new iphone 6 with Verizon plan 2/11/15. Tried to connect with my home wifi 3 or 4 times with I thought the correct password but now it says Forget This Network and wont let me try again. Can't its the only network available. How do I clear this and start over. Thanks, this laptop connects fine but this is my first smartphone and I don't see why it gives a crap if I mess up 50 times! Help!

to your home wifi. May I ask are you able to connect to other wifi networks? If
so then please forget your home network again, turn wifi off, reboot, and
retest. If this doesn't work then you will want to reset network settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Keep in mind that
this will delete ALL wifi passwords that you have saved.

I just bought an new ipad mini with wifi and cellular. Is there any way to send text messages to people and contacts that do not have iphones such as friends with blackberrys or a samsung galaxy smartphone from this ipad. Everytime I try to send a message to a person that does not have an Apple product ( Iphone or Ipad ) it comes up saying contact is not registered for iMessage and wont send it. I can only send them a message from my iPhone 4 instead. Do I have to install a new App from the App store to send these non iMessage cell users a message?

I have synced my new iPhone 4S with my old iphone 3S and i can't invite any contacts with my calendar?
is there something I have not done properly to do this or do I need to update calendar software or is this an App thing?
Please help!Go to iTunes Settings, on the Devices tab you will see a list of all available backups. If you don't see the one you're looking for there it doesn't exist to restore your phone to it. Also, if you want to prevent iTunes from syncing automatically you can check "Prevent...from syncing automatically" on the Devices preferences screen.
If you do see the backup you are trying to restore to listed here, you should be able to right-click on the name of your phone and select it to restore from. When you right-click on your phone you should see these choices, where "iPhone" is the name of your phone: -

I bought a new iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3 installed. When I connected it to itunes for the first time to activate it iTunes asked me to enter the password for an account that the iPhone is locked to like if the device was used before what shall I do? PLease reply soonI can't do that because the device was purchased from United Arab Emirates and I got it as a gift in Syria but the problem is that there is not even a single apple store in Syria so is there another way to fix that, I googled it and was told to jailbreak the device whitch I did and than hacktivated it but the problem is the device doesn't connect to any network and only shows "no service" and the battery draining too fast so is there any other way to fix this issue

Hi, I set up my new iPhone S4 with iclouds. So the data of my old S3 should move to the S4. However, some applications could not be loaded on the S04. Now some apps are loaded and others not . How can I progress?
Thanks. I can change the forwarding settings in Gmail to be either POP or IMAP. That is quite simple. I just looked at those settings on the Gmail server and, to my surprise, both are enabled. In order for outlook client on my computer to receive IMAP emails I have to change the email account settings in my current outlook from POP to IMAP. I don't need to be using the Exchange version of Outlook to receive IMAP. I guess I'll do a little research tomorrow on Exchange so i can figure out what, if anything, it might do for me.
I glanced at the link you sent me and it looks like it might be very helpful - another project for tomorrow.
BTW: I hit "This Solved my Question" by accident. I meant only to "like' your response so you would get some benefit from the help you've given me so far. I hope I haven't discouraged others from taking a shot at helping me. I suspect there is more than one way to approach this and, as you know, my problem isn't really solved until I have what I need all set up and running smoothly. -

I had an iphone 3GS (normal sim), but received my new iPhone 5 with micro sim, but wanted to keep old mobile number so rang up to change it, normal text messaging is working fine, but iMessage is still using the number I received with iPhone 5, how do you delete that number I can only receive iMessages on my original number?

Like you mentioned, she bought it from the Vodafone store and most likely the phone is locked to Vodafone. But, in your case since you are using the same carrier's SIM card (Vodafone), "unlocking the phone" is not an issue. Aside from that "phone unlocking" is ONLY done by the carrier and Vodafone NZ doesn't offer unlocking. (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937)
As you have already tried restoring the phone (which technically wasn't required) and SIM change, your best option is to take the phone to Vodafone store and ask them to activate it for you. -

Thanks, gdIf you backed up your iPhone 5 before you did this, photo in the camera roll would be included in the backup. You would have to restore the entire backup to recover them. Also, you can see what's in the backup ahead of time. You can only find out what photos are there by restoring the backup.
