HT4623 Notification screen won't pull down iOS 6

Just updated to IOS 6 and now my notification pull down screen is not available. Do I have to enable it somewhere?

Fixed it . Just turned my phone off then back on again and now it works. Realized I haven't turned it off in a while. Thanks anyway.

Notification screen won't pull down

Ever since updating to iOS 8 my phone (5S) will randomly stop showing the notification screen when I attempt to pull it down. Shutting my phone down and turning it back on fixes the problem. I'd estimate this happens a couple of times a week on average. Very irritating. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know if there's a better fix than rebooting your phone?

I see that you have an issue with your notification center in your iPhone. It seems like you have already tried a few troubleshooting steps and have determined that the issue can be temporarily resolved by restarting your iOS device. Since this only solves the issue for a short while, I would like to suggest that you take the troubleshooting a little further and reset your iOS device to see if that resolves the issue permanently. Notification bar won't pull down on 4s updated with iOS8?

I will get notifications but I can't pull down the actual menu to look at all of them. Does anyone know why? Or how it can be fixed?

It's quite easy for me to answer this question, your phone is water damaged. I used to have Sony Xperia Z and which was water damaged too, I couldn't pull down the notification/illumination bar. The water entered through your speaker at the top which happened to me. It's quite notable that you'll have to spend like half of the price of your phone to fix this issue...but I have something easy round for you. You should place that phone in a polythene bag for 3 days minimum with full of dried rice and every path ways that water can enter should be opened up. 'Cause mostly water damaged phones are fixed by rice because rice s-u-cks every water out of your phone. Note: Now I'm SP user. Had to sell that old phone after fixing the issue. Notification Center isn't pulling down

Hi, I have a problem with my iPhone 3GS running iOS 5.1.1 which is Notification Center isn't pulling down. My screen is fine as it is all responsive everywhere I touch Do I need to do a restore? Ive tried turning it off and on and putting it into DFU mode but no luck. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks :)

I don't think you can disable either Notification Center (top of screen) nor Control Center (bottom of screen). You might try resetting your phone...it's been known to cure many odd quirks:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

My status bar won't pull down and I can't use the search/menu buttons at the top of sony/stock apps

Yesterday I turned on my phone to download an app and the search/menu buttons at the top of the screen in the play store wouldn't work. I tried using the buttons that appear at the top in Walkman, Album, and Messaging, and they didn't work either. I then received a text and swiped down on my notification bar a few times but that wouldn't work either. Weirdly, the notification bar will only pull down in landscape mode. Help please?

HT6154 My notification listings don't pull down all the way??

When I go to pull down my notification listings, the bar only comes halfway down.

Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?

Genius screen won't close down on main app store screen

Have now turned off genius in App Store but despite clicking on 'done' it won't close down. Any suggestions as the App Store now cannot be accessed?

I just turned on Genius for Apps and am having the same problem; no matter how many times I touch close, the screen doesn't close. Therefore, I cannot access the App Store. Can anyone help with this?

HT4623 iPhone 4S won't start after iOS 6.01 update any ideas

My iPhone 4S won't start after doing the latest update that came out today I believe it was iOS 6.01 or 6.1

Have already tried that to no success. I have hooked it up to the computer and itunes came up saying phone was in recovery mode and needs to be restored.. So im i the middle of trying that. Thanks for the suggestion..!!

Can not pull down notification bar in PORTRAIT mode

I bought K900 from flipkart.com 2 months ago and everything was working ok. Now suddenly I have a problem with the notification bar; I can not pull down my notification bar. This problem started when I was using "GOOGLE+ app" and suddenly the notification bar automatically got pulled down; from that point I am unable to pull down my notification bar down. I have tried following ->
1) Disable google+ app, uninstall google+ uppdates
2) Restart phone normally and ALSO restarting the phone in safe mode.
3) clear cache using an app "App managet" and also clear ALL cache using the recovery (by pressing vol down and power button).
4) Factory reset
5) tried another lauchers : LauncherPro, Atom launcher
Has anyone faced this problem? There is an app on playstore "Drop down" which pulls down the notification bar. The touch sensors and also the display is working fine in the area of the notification bar (BUT I can not pull down by using fingers/swipe-down action). When the screen is in LANDSCAPE mode i.e. while playing a video using MXPlayer; the notification bar CAN BE PULLED DOWN, BUT CAN NOT in PORTRAIT mode.
I have also read on the internet that some people having samsung galaxy s3/s4 have also faced the same problem.
Can anybody suggest me to do something? Are my screen pixels/touch sensors dead on the top most row??

So yesterday, I took my Samsung SyncMaster 204T monitor to the local Apple retailer to try it out on an actual system. I specifically tried it out on the 24" iMac with the nVidia 7300GT graphics card, since that is the system I was interested in.
It turned out that this monitor works beautifully in portrait mode with the above system using Tiger 10.4.8.
So, I went and bought it!!

I recently (Nov 11, 2011) updated my iPhone 4 (model MC605B) to iOS 5.0.1 and no longer have a pull-down for the notification center. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix? I updated my iPad (original model) without any problems. The pull-down works perfectly on my iPad.
