HT4623 Problem downloading update - help!

Every time I try to download the latest update through iTunes, it stops about 20-35% of the way through. This has been going on for the last ~8 months, but now it's more important because my phone needs to be restored to function again. There is no apparent problem with my connection, and I have downloaded files of similar size very recently. Is there a mirror I could download the update from and/or a way to fix this issue? Please help so I can have a working phone again!

The original iPad does not have the hardware capability to run the latest versions of the iOS.
The highest version of iOS that the original iPad can run is iOS 5.1.1

Are you updating under Settings > General > Software Update, or using iTunes on a computer?

Problem downloading update (stuck at 45%)

Hi,
I have a windows server 2012 datacenter and when downloading updates it stucks at 45%. Only when I select only one or two updates each time, the downloading finishes and I can to restart the server and select one or two updates more. Of course it is a problem
because I have a lot of patches for being intalled.
The windows firewall is turned off and I haven't any antivirus installed in the server.
Can anybody help me?

Yes is good enough. In fact we download videos an so on without problems.
During the Windows update, was there any concurrent downloading activities?
Videos uses a lot of bandwidth, so if at the same time it was done during the Windows update then it could cause some issues. Are you using torrent in your DataCenter OS?
Anyway, try downloading Windows update when there is not much of downloading activity.

I am having trouble downloading updates. Every time I try, it will download the update and right at the very end it says that the network connection times out. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I'm stuck on version 4.2.1

Problems downloading updated folio

Content Viewer is taking absolutely ages to download a folio (ipdated version) onto iPad 4.
I know there were server issues on friday/saturday, but it gets halfway through and then crashes/fails.
The status site is saying there are currently no problems downloading.
Is there still issues?

Problem is Neil is that that status page is saying everything is OK with content viewer for web, but everybody is still experiencing problems - so people are not really taking it seriously/trusting it.
Surely a large company like Adobe could sort all these issues quicker and it's shouldn't be taking days?
People are missing deadlines through no fault of their own and potentially losing money not to mention clients.

hi guys. i'm back.
i solved my problem. i refer my iphone 5 to a local distributor. a repairman checked my iphone and i described my problem. he checked my battery. it was fine! then after an hour excavation around hardware solution he told me that the charging kit crashed because of heavy mobility usage!
yes. i did not covered my phone with any cover. the cpu pressure by ios update crashed the kit! now my phone get back after the kit changed and work finally. i restored my phone to ios 8.2 now.
i'm going to buy new iphone. but i'm really confused if such this issue really happened for iphone 6 too!!!!!

I am having problems downloading updates to my apps.

Some apps are updating without any problems but apps like fifa12 have refused to update for as long as I can remember. I have repeatedly tried to update the apps but I get a waiting status on the app, is there something I am doing wrong help somebody.

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.
If that doesn't work:
• Log out of your iTunes store account. Go to Settings > Store > Sign Out Then press the Home button.
• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.
• After restart, the Waiting should be gone.

This will give you information why update failed with error code. Please share the screenshot of the error message.

Problems Downloading "Update" Apps on Newly purchased iphone 4

If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction , I would be very grateful !
I have just purchased a new iphone 4G , and got a great deal from tescos. My previous
Iphone ( 3GS) has served me well, and I have always backed it up on i-tunes, and
updated any Apps over my Home wireless network.
However, with the new phone, I have backed up all my old info on to the phone , via I-tunes on my PC , no
problem, and the phone is excellent.
howverer, the " updates" that come through on the " app store" icon have now built up to 22 - and
counting. For some reason, it will not let me update " All" or update singularly. Even when I
go on i-tunes- and plug the phone in to sync- it isnt doing anything with the Apps that are " waiting".
A message comes up, saying " Unable to download Application" - could not be downloaded at this
time.
The phone is conencted to Wifi and has a good signal , and the i-tune account sign-on is the same one I have
used for 5 years.
Anyone got any ideas ?

Problem Downloading/Updating Apps

Just recently tonight I've had a problem with downloading and/or updating the apps on my iPhone 4S. I noticed I had some updates available so I clicked "Update All". The 3 apps never updated and are still grayed out and deemed as "Waiting". I've restarted and shut down my phone several times but this hasn't helped at all. I even tried downloading a new app to see if that helped but I got the same issue occurred. I'm not sure if the problem is with me or the App Store or what?

Just to say, same problem here since yesterday. I'm able to update apps within iTunes on my MacBook Pro, but not from within the App Store on my iPhone 4 anymore. It just says „Warten…“ (waiting), but nothing happens at all.
@xtremecarbon: Of course I tried removing and reinstalling the app as well as restarting my iPhone, but have the same experience: The download starts, says „waiting“ and nothing more happens.

It is not a "problem". This feature is only available on iphone runnning ios 5 or later.

Slurpy - An AUR search/download/update helper in Python

Some of you guys from IRC already know about slurpy, but I've tagged a release and uploaded a stable PKGBUILD to the AUR.
AUR packages:
slurpy - should remain usable, but will not contain latest bug fixes until the next release
slurpy-git - latest and greatest, but will also contain the latest bugs I've introduced

Preamble
slurpy is another AUR helper script written in Python. I've been an advocate of arson since it's inception but the fact that it's written in Ruby always bugged me. Since I am much more comfortable in Python I decided to write a port. The arson code base changed a lot as I worked on this and I decided to continue the direction I was heading rather than rewriting the port to match. slurpy is where I ended up.
What it is
* Faster searching, downloading, retrieving info, and checking for updates for AUR packages.
* Dependency resolution for packages in the AUR.
* Written in Python with only one optional dependency - python-cjson (makes processing faster with large result sets).
* Colorized output based on pacman-color's color.conf. Color is disabled by default and must be enabled with -c|--color.
* Easy downloading of package source through the ABS for packages in the official repositories. (Very experimental!!)
What it isn't
* slurpy is not a way to automate the download-build-install process. It is only a means to manage PKGBUILDS. If you are looking for an automatic installer, check out yaourt.
* slurpy is not a `prettyfier'. Output is mostly modeled after pacman output to keep a uniform feel across tools.
Other thoughts
* I've tested this quite a bit, but I know there are many bugs I've missed. I could use a few testers giving quality feedback. If you've got a minute, check it out and let me know what you think.

Evanlec and I talked about this issue on IRC. I know why it breaks, I'm not sure how to handle it. That cromium package uses a pkgver that is grabbed from the cromium webpage, but the AUR doesn't know how to handle that pkgver. This causes the AUR to return a version number of -7 (negative $pkgrel). This is more of an issue with the way the PKGBUILD is written and what the AUR can support, but I'll see if I can implement an elegant work around for this.
I've run into this before with other packages too. My conclusion was that the best way to deal with it is to ignore any packages who's verson number returns as negative, or who's version number slurpy doesn't understand. This would mean that there are possibly packages installed on your system that need to be updated that slurpy isn't showing updates for. In that case slurpy show a warning message saying that it can't determine the latest version of that package. Thoughts?
