Just bought an Iphone 4 working on operating system 4.33. I can't see up-dqte software option on the phone. Does anyone know how to do it please?

YOu won't see it on your phone because you need IOS 5.0 or higher.
to update plug your phone to your computer open itunes and itunes should read that you need an update.
Note make sure you back up prior to updating.

It is not a "problem". This feature is only available on iphone runnning ios 5 or later.

I have connected my iPhine 4S to the iTunes on my laptop (running Win XP) and continued with an update to iOS 6.1.2. I lost my internet connection during the update and i am not able to continue with the update later on and not able to switch on my phone.iTunes is suggesting me to restore my phone. how do i continue with the software update without restoring the phone to factory settings? Any help?

You couldn't go back to 5.0.1 even if you wanted to, it would have to be 5.1.1 but if you had a signed copy of the iOS 6 beta on your iPhone I don't believe you can go back.
You can try Google to see if you can find a workaround. Despite the map issue, if you are a developer don't you need the Beta on your iPhone?

Problem using Toshiba Software Installer for Win 7 on Satellite L750-1MT

I have problem using Toshiba Software Installer for Win 7 on Satellite L750-1MT (PSK30E-02T002B3) with no OS preinstalled.
I do the following:
1. Install Windows 7 x64, SP1.
2. Install LAN driver (device was not recognized by Windows 6) (downloaded from [http://se.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/supportMyProduct.do?service=SE&LNG=26&userAction=S MP_RESULTS_PAGE&partNumber=PSK30E-02T002B3&serialNumber=&USER_ACTION=Serial%20number])
3. Install all Windows Updates from Microsoft
4. Run Toshiba Software Installer for Win 7 - it installs a couple of drivers and then asks to reboot.
Here is the log file for the first try (win7update.log):

You are right this notebook model was delivered without OS.
Win7 64bit is supported for this notebook model and all necessary drivers, tools and utilities are available on Toshiba download page.
What I can say is that all this stuff must be installed in right install order. I know it sounds stupid now but I recommend you to make clean OS again and continue installation following this installation order:

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

I would guess the fan is the cause of the noise. Suggest you take a look at it.

A simple search of the forums for the actual error would have revealed the resolution.
Temporarily disable all security software on the computer.

Yep, me to exactly the same problem, the error message keeps telling me to check my internet connection or try later. Nothing wrong with my internet connection. Is it an apple server problem?
