A problem with app updates

This problem is driving me crazy and I have already done few calls to the Apple support with no solution so far.
When I first bought my iPhone few years ago, I created an Apple ID with a primary email address. I have downloaded some applications with it. Later on I updated my Apple ID profile by providing a newer primary email address. And here's the problem: whenever there are updates to apps which I have bought under my initial email address, it shows a baddge in iTunes with the number of those updates, however when I click on the button with should download the updates, there is an empty screen - no updates visible - and there's a suggestion that I may need to sign in with another Apple ID to see those updates. I haven't used another Apple ID. It has always been the same Apple ID with only the primary email address changed. Please note also that there's no problem on the iPhone. I can download all updates on my iPhone with my Apple ID and I can afterwards synchronize with iTunes which will clear the badge with the updates number but only temporarily. Next time there are updates to my older apps, it will happen again. I don't want to dwonload updates only on my iPhone, I prefer also using iTunes since I have some huge apps (a 2GB navigation) which I don't want being downloaded by my iPhone. I am absolutely sure it is a bug with the Apple ID system and iTunes. I've followed many suggestions with the call center like deleting cache, recreating my iTunes library but none of them helps.
This has happened on all the iTunes version for the last few years including the latest 11.0.

When I try to update some apps bought with my account on the App Store, a message appears in which is written that it is impossible to update them and that I must connect with the account with which I have bought them. Now I have only a single account! Please, help! Thank you

One user who encoutered this issue said that he opened the apps that needed updates, then returned to the Mac App Store and the apps updated successfully. You might give that a try.

Problem with App update after upgrade to ios7

Hi
I have just upgraded to ipads (ipad2 + ipad mini) to ios7.
One thing I have noticed on both.
I updated apps in the app store, now the apps that updated are sitting on the screen, they have been updated, and can be opened.
However in the past once apps had been updated this screen would clear.
I have tried logging out/in in itunes. Hard reset. Restore from itunes.
Still the same.
How do I refresh this screen.

I cannot find it again, but I found a possible answer in another forum.
It is correect. Ios 7 has an option for auto app update.
The information is left on the screen to advise you which apps have been updated. Apparently they will clear after a week, only time will tell.
If I find the link I will repost.
One thing I noticed was that if you delete the app the update notice goes, only to return when you reinstall.......weird.

Problems with APP World

Just got back into the Curve from a WM phone and I forgot how easy this phone is to use!!! Having a problem with App world though. I;m receiving an error message stating I'm unable to connect to the server. Anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify the problem? I'm sure it's a super easy fix and I'm just missing it online somewhere. Thanks!

Here's a few steps I've recommended that have worked for some...
There have been some issues with the AppWorld services lately...most are reported to be cleared up. Please try again. Also, please try removing and re-installing AppWorld...some have reported that to be helpful. In addition...RIM has released AppWorld version 1.1.0.15...it is highly recommended to be on that version.
Also please try a hard reset: With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
In addition, you can try this sequence:
1) Remove AppWorld from your BB (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications) -- if it requests that you reboot the BB, do so.
2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot as described above.
3) Get a new link and install a fresh copy of AppWorld

Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
5) See if it now works.

Strange problem with App Id on developer account

Hi,
I have very strange problem with App Id on developer account.
We have uploaded one project with App Id(com.yourcompany.app) and its ready for sale now. Now we have to release update for this application but we could not find that App Id(com.yourcompany.app) on developer account. But strange is that i could not see delete option for App Id.
If i try to create new App Id with com.yourcompany.app name then it shows that it is already being used please select any other name.
Does anyone has faced this type of problem.

You shouldn't need to enter the App Id when updating your app. Could you please describe the page in which you're asked for the App Id, and describe how you got to that page?
For example, if I wanted to update Version 1.2 of Ray'sApp, I would log into ITC, then click on +Manage Your Applications+ to get to the "Manage Your Applications" page. On this page I see the icon for every app I have in the store. I then click on the icon for Ray'sApp 1.2 to get to the page titled "Ray'sApp". Next I click the 4th selection to the right on that page: +Update Application+, click No and Continue on the "Export Compliance" page, and get to the "Upload Application" page. On that page I fill in Version Number: 1.3, Language English, Name: Ray'sApp, Keywords ..., What's New in this Version: ..., and the Apple Content Descriptions table. Then I upload the binary.
Following the above example, show us how you got to a step that requested the App Id. Else you might refer to Page 86: Version Updates in the iTunes Connect Developer Guide. In that case, please explain how your update experience differed from the steps in the Guide.

Problem with an update page.

I have a problem with an update page on my website
Here's how it work
values are defualted in from the advert table - this works fine
I should then be able to change the fields and click on the update button
This works fine but ONLY when the O_year field is populated.
There doesn't seem to be anything special about the O_year field
I thought spry text validation would of been causing the issues, but I removed them and have the same problem.
For some reason the POST_MMupdate value is not being set to 'form4', which it is doing if O_year is set.
Please can someone have a look at this, code,
Also, is there a way of 'stepping through' dreamweaver code to debug it?

Removing I investigated spry a little more, in the end I settled for removing spry altogether,
Maybe it was because the text field in a $GET (for the default) AND a $PUT (for the update)

I am having trouble with app updates on my iOS 5 iPhone never getting beyond the "waiting" state. I have tried signing out/in of my account, rebooting and removing/re-installing the apps. This started shortly after going to iOS 5 but I am not certain if that is related. All updates that I try now are stuck in "waiting". I also tried removing the apps and then installing via iTunes desktop sync with no improvement. The only thing that I have not tried so far is a restore to a prior iPhone backup. I have not been able to find anything to indciate what the updates on waiting on. There is plenty of space on the iPhone (16gb available). Any suggestions on what to try next?

First thing I would recommend is to check your downloads queue to make sure there is not an interrupted download per the following Knowledge Base article:

1. From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.

If you can't complete the download on your iOS device, you can download it in iTunes on your Mac or PC and then sync it to your iOS device. You can also transfer purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer.
For Apps, you can also try tapping on the application icon to resume the download, as outline in this featured discussion:

Try tapping the App, so that it changes to Paused instead of Waiting, then tap it again to resume the install.
Make sure you don't have any paused downloads in other apps either, like the App Store or iTunes Store.
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

Have you encountered problems with System Update 3.14.0019 after installation SP2 for Windows Vista?

A known issue. It wasn't supposed to be supported until SP2 is RTM. However, look at the stickied post in the forum for some bad news about SU.

Did you check to see if your credit card has expired or has been frozen? My dad bought some hardware from Canada and it froze his card because it was an out of the country purchase. He called the bank and they turned it back on.
