HT4623 The ios7 download stalled on my iPhone 5! What do I do? Mick
The download of iOS7 was near,y complete, just couple more steps which I did up to agreeing to the terms & conditions. Then there were no further buttons to move on or continue. I pressed home button & got an "Emergency call" or cancel choice. I tried cancel which put me back to terms & conditions page. I could not continue past that page. I pressed home button again and selected emergency call, but nothing happened. I am stuck on terms & conditions page and cannot exit or continue. What do I do? Mick

Try restoring the iPad for the random reboots that you are seeing. Then I would set it up as new device.

Thanks for the question. It sounds like the album has been synced to your iPhone from iTunes. To delete synced photos, you’ll want to uncheck the album in iTunes:

1. In iTunes, click the Device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner first.)
2. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
3. Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Note: To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
4. Click Apply.

yesterdsay i downloaded ios6 on my iphone 3Gs & the iphone stoped working it's just appears the apple & disappers the apple it was all the night like this what can i do?is it installing the ios 6 or what's the problem???

My iPhone downloaded the iOS7, but when it came to the part where I had to install it. It said it had to verify the update. But it keeps on saying that it's not available at this time and to try again later. I tried an hour later, and then another.
I would try a couple things.
First restart the phone nad then try to update it again.
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.

I bought an iPhone 5 at full retail price from an AT&T store. I requested the phone to be unlocked through their unlock portal. The AT&T unlock system asked for the IMEI number, a copy of my receipt showing that I bougth the phone at "No Commitment" price. A few hours later I received a message from AT&T stating that the unlock request was approved. I then followed the instructions to back up the phone and restore it through Itunes. The phone activates normally with the AT&T SIM card. But when I insert my VODAFONE SIM I get the massage "THE SIM CARD... etc.
I tried again to back up & restore the phone 3 or 4 times, no success. I have also allowed 24 hours for the unlock process to complete. Still no luck.
I have checked again on the AT&T Unlock Status portal and it shows "Unlock approved".
Where is the issue here? Do I have to call Apple or return the phone to AT&T and get the unlocked phone through the Apple Store?

I have just received a new iphone 5s and need to set the Apple ID with my work email. I used my work email on my personal iphone 4s to set up an icloud account and it will not let me use this email as the Apple ID on my new iphone. As it is a work phone I need to use this email address as my Apple ID. How do I do this?
when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

I have just upgraded my iphone 4 to version 4.3.3. The upgrade was successful but I cannot use anymore those applications (e.g. facebook, google) which I downloaded from the Appstore. I tap on an app, I can see it opens itself but the screen changes to black for a few moments and after that it returns to the homescreen. But when I open the bottom line as i want to see the running apps, it shows that it is running. The applications which were already on the phone when I bought it (e.g. messages, mail, camera, youtube), are working correctly.
I tried to turn it off and on but nothing happens. I'm afraid to reset the phone to the original factory settings because I don't want to loose all my contacts and settings.
Please help me what can I do!Well, I finally found the solution. I deleted two applications from the phone and downloaded them again from the Appstore, and they worked. But not only these 2, all of them.
I also uploaded some ringtones and syncronized the phone but I don't think these were the solutions. -

Should I start the iOS7 download??
Here I sit, staring at my iPad mini ready to update to iOS7. Wahdahyah think? Should I press the button or wait for more dust to settle? On this site and elsewhere I have seen comments about all the problems people are having with both app's and the basic system. Is there anything I should do before I go with the update? I have shut off all app's but are there any precautions? Thanks to all.
This UI is so different from anything that iOS users have experienced up to this point, and it will certainly take a while before a lot of us adjust and feel real comfortable with the new look of the icons and how everything works.
I have already shut off the background motion, background app refreshing, automatic updates and some other things that might cause a little faster battery drain. I will continue to fiddle with the settings until I have tweaked it to where I think it best suits my needs. I'm sure that you will be doing likewise.
Don't look for the gremlins tonight. They have the night off and will not be bothering you.
BTW...I appreciate the thought, but don't worry about the "greenie". I'm just happy to hear that everything went well for you. -
I can't get the app download app on my iphone
I did an update via my powerbook, It got all updated and the data restored. When I go to the tab Apps, there are no apps in the left collumn (the apps store), neither does the search button work. Any suggestions?
The App Store app is a built-in app, it can't be deleted or downloaded - if it's not showing on your phone then check to see if it's hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps 'off'

What can I do?
Did the update complete successfully? I'm guessing here, but the screen is black, or touch does not work? If so, do a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. See if it functions after that.

What iPhone do you have? You can check in settings>>general>> about.
If you have a 3G you cannot update beyond iOS 4.2.1. The 3G is over 4 years old an was discontinued over 2 1/2 years ago. You need the latest ios to run the latest versions of some apps. If you have a 3GS you can update.
If your phone is not responding, reset it by pressing and holding down both the home button ad lock/ sleep button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.
