The Settings>General>Software Update comes with iOS 5. The 2G can only go to iOS 4.2.1
Try disabling the computer's security software during the download and update.

Please tell me how I can disable the Ctrl-Click shortcut
I have a three (or more) button mouse, and have had for years.
Many applications and website need to use the Ctrl key as a modifier for certain actions. However, on my Mac trying to do this always brings up the bloody right-click pop-up menu.
I do not need the Ctrl-click command, but can find no way to turn it off. Does anyone know how this can be done? Or is there some shareware/freeware app I can download to turn off this annoying feature (similar to Cocktail, or other utilities)?
I urgently need help with this. Thank you.

A.If any Mac apps are using control-clicks for something other than contextual menus, I'd be surprised. Of course, seems to me that if an app's developers want to use control-click for something else, it would either work, and you wouldn't have a problem, or it wouldn't work, and thus the app wouldn't use control-click that way.
Which means I'm not sure I understand your problem. When you say things are using "the Ctrl key as a modifier", what exactly does that mean, and how is that colliding with a control-click? What applications and web sites are the culprits? -

For anyone who has similar issue, I changed the code a little to make it work with my existing ones. I never splited queries before, so please tell me if there's a better way to handle it.

I have been trying to download some apps and it tells me I need to update my iPad. The software update tab is not there in my settings, Why?????
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Numbers does not have rotated text within cells. You can place a text box over the cell that has rotated text but you cannot rotate text within a cell.

That link doesn't tell you how to remove the Panoroma Tab Groups!! My main issue with it is that along my tabs at the top I no longer have the tab to open a new tab. Instead I have to click on the tab groups and then open them and click on an open area in the tab to get a new tab opened!! Is there a way to add that? I don't see that when I go to customize the tool bar as there's no icon to add it, just one to open a new window, which I don't want to do!! Thanks!!
