HT4623 Today i did the latest IOS update now my phone wont turn on
Today i did the latest IOS update on my Iphone, and now i cant turn it on and itunes no longer recognises my phone. I have uninstalled itunes and reinstalled. But not still no luck, has any one else had any problems???
Yeah, i uninstalled itunes then reinstalled it again, just to make sure that i had the latest.
No something odd has happened over night, the battery went flat last night, so i put it on the charger for 12 hours. Then when i took it off this morning for 30 minutes the battery went flat again..

Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated? If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of that been tried? -
i down loaded ios 6 now my phone wont turn on it has been 2 days and it is really bugging me it keeps saying link to itunes but it wont link itunes asks me to restore the phone and i dont want to loose my info ps i have itunes 10.7
you must restore i would put in dfu mode if it isnt asking to restore when you plug it in

Did the latest software update, now my audio books are messed up
After I did the latest software update, my audio books don't transfer right. Not al parts will be there, and what does show up arent in the correct order. These audiobooks are downloaded from my public library.

Restart computer, open current iTunes on computer, connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes reconizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, click Restore button of iTunes.

Detailed:
We had a glitch with our Apple TV 3A 3-4 weeks ago and had to factory reset it (we reconfigured it with the exact same configuration than before the crash), it's now running iOS 7.0.2, I can't saw which version it ran before the problem though.
It's used in a business environment with 30+ iPads 2, half of them are updated to 8.1.1 and the other half to 8.1.2. We use the latest iTunes version.
Before the glitch that required a reset, all the iPads were detecting and mirroring when needed to the Apple TV, but now the iPads don't see the Apple TV in their list of Airplay devices anymore (but they detect various other devices inside our network).
I have to add that our Apple TV is able to navigate the movie store correctly, so I assume that it's not an internet restriction issue from our end (also, the APple TV do not see either any of the many iPads on its device-detection screen.
We successfully connected an iPhone 5S and an iPhone 6 through P2P Airplay, so it's not the issue, but when we connected the iPhones to our Wifi network (Same as all the other devices are using) the Apple TV suddenly disappeared from the choices.
Hence the reason why I inquire to the possibility that some changes were made in one of the latest iOS revisions, if so, we would require some details so we can adjust our Wifi configuration accordingly to allow the proper detection of devices.
P.S. I tried the basic troubleshooting of Airplay problems with no avail. Airplay button is displaying on the control panel, Airplay do not show the Apple TV at all (so it's not either the trick to display the Mirroring button), we also already proceeded to the suggested devices reboots, so my issue is quite more complex I believe.

Ok so you want Apple to address the problem, but yet you don't want to take it to them just in case they can't fix it? What if they can fix it? Complaining here certainly won't fix it. -
I updated to the latest iOS and now YouTube and the Ap store are no longer on my phone. Also, not all my music will play and if I play a song it will actually play a different song while displaying the one I chose. Any ideas how to fix this?
You have to download the individual youtube app now. It is no longer a nataive ios app from apple in ios6

I updated recently to the latest IOS but now the websites screen of Safari would not go widescreen when I put it side way, why? Please fix bug.
During a normal install of iOS 7.0.6 this does not happen but something clearly went wrong in your installation.
To fix this, connect to iTunes and restore to Factory. Hopefully your iPad will be working again and you can restore your iCloud backup during Setup. -

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

Third party accessories no longer supported... All my charging cables were great before the latest ios update, why?
I don't know which accessories you have, but the 'better' ones are usually made with Apple's cooperation. Stuff from Targus, Kensington, Belkin and the like.
Ive used a belkin and Onn lightning cable with my iPod with no error messages.
You SHOULD be able to keep using the accessories and just ignore the warning. But I say should because that may not be the case with everything.
The issue stems from various incidents involving shoddy third party accessories malfunctioning - sometimes quite spectacularly. But the headlines never read 'cheap knock off cable shorted out' they read 'iphone burst into flames'
