My iphone asked if I wanted to update and I hit yes. It said to plug into ITunes so I did. My only option is to "restore". It didn't ask if I want to backup first. I don't have service on phone and I don't want to restore. How can I go back to "not" restoring?

I clicked the button in my setting thatz is saying "software update iOS 6.1.2. It turned off and now My iPad 2 is stuck on a black screen that has the iTunes symbol and a charger that I'm guessing means "plug into iTunes". If you didn't back it up, your data is gone. There is no "solution" after the fact.

My ipad has been locking up and shutting down when I'm using the internet. Went to do upgrade 6 and Ipad froze wanting me to plug into itunes. I hooked ipap up to my laptop to do upgrade, but the ipap was still frozen, I had to restore to factory settings, unfortunately I have lost my pictures. Is there anyway to get the pictures back?

I downloaded the os 6 by wifi and when the phone restarted it told me to plug into itunes. I did that and the iphone software update has been stuck on '70 hours remaining' for the last 3 hours. Help!
it says " itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. you must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes" so i restore it and after it gets finished it says " the iphone :iphone" could not be restored. the device cannot be found" but ive used this itunes since i got this phone.

My daughter has used my computer to log into iTunes and download music but now it won't let me download recently purchased music from my iPad onto my computer. I want to transfer the recently purchased songs onto my iPod so how can I do this now? iTunes now says that I have to wait another 55 days! There must be a way to do this since I have paid for them.
In iTunes sign out of your daughters Apple ID and sign in with your own.

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? I'm wondering if restarting the computer might help but have been afraid to do so in case it would make it harder to recover anything...I was looking at this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4211589?start=0&tstart=0 in the hopes that it might have a helpful suggestion but it's definitely a different scenario.

When I open iphoto says I have 4500 pics I haven 't downloaded that many. When I looked I have pic of ebay home page facebook a lot of different web sites I've visited How do I stop this and why is this happening.
This happens when someone drags the HD or a system folder icon to the iPhoto Window by accident. Solution: restore from back up created before this occurred.

You're still using Safari for Windows?!? They stopped updating that in 2012!
You can change the region settings on an iPhone in Settings>Genera>Language and Region. However, you may still want to talk to the developers of the website and have them fix the formatting on their end.

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?
