Tried updating my daughters iPod touch and it just turned off. It now has a picture of a white lead and says iTunes. I don't have a computer to connect it to and just want it back to normal as it will not do anything. Can anyone help me?

You need to
Connect the iPod to a computer with iTunes and an internet connection and restore via iTunes

To restore from backup see:

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If you have the installation disc for iLife and MS Office, then you can install it from there. With iPhoto, if you downloaded it from the Mac App Store, you can redownlad it fron the "Purchases" tab.

YouTube is no longer native in iOS. There are loads of posts on this, so the search bar can be your friend. There is a YouTube app in the App Store. Download it and you'll have YouTube.
You can NOT get rid of Passbook. It is a new Apple Native App and is built into the iOS. If you don't like it, you can put in a folder or on another page, but you can't delete anything Native.

Howdid you buy iPhoto originally? Did it come preinstalled on a new macwith MacOS X 10.7 or later? Then you can download it from the Purchased tab of the AppStore:

The storage level is held on the server so signing out of your iCloud on your Mac wouldn't affect it; and you can't delete an iCloud account from the server.
Are you absolutely sure that when you signed back in you signed in with the same Apple ID as before, and didn't create a new iCloud account by accident (because it does sound as if that is what has happened).
If you are sure about this then only Support can unravel it for you. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services', then ' 'iTunes', and then 'iTunes Store', then 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption'.

I previously used Firefox on my old Mac G4 with OS 10.3.9; the above issue existed with that system and Firefox 2.00.2 (or similar). I then "tried" to move to a G5 Mac with OS 10.5, hoping that an updated Mac Operating system and updating Firefox would solve that problem.
I'm now working on my son's MacBook Pro, OS 10.5.8, 2.4 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo; 2gb Memory; 2 gb 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM.
I still have a problem in Firefox Preferences trying to download .qif files. BofA Mortgage accounts only allow downloading of .qif files. My .qfx download works fine, but the error message is as follows:
The error message is that this is a corrupted file or one that Preview doesn't recognize.
and it is still a problem when trying to download Quicken .qif format files for our B of A mortgage.
The preferences for Firefox under File Helpers won't let me name the extension I want; instead, it CONFUSES .qif (Quicken Interchange Format) with .qtif (Quicktime Image Format) for Mac.
Therefore, when I download .qif files and try to import them to Quicken, I get a message that this is a corrupted file:

Well, in the end, I just gave up and deleted the photos, in the hope that it was something to do with them. Took some more photos and they seem to have imported without any problems at all.
Given that the same irksome photos loaded on the wife's macbook without so much as a murmur, how weird is that?
Still- all's well that ends well. Thanks for the suggestions- much appreciated.

The point is not whether you used iTunes or iCloud to restore your new iPhone. It's whether you have Contacts turned on in Settings > ICloud. If you do on both your old iPhone and new iPhone then those devices are connected through iCloud. Deletions on one device are also made on the other.
You may be able to restore your Contacts be using your old device backup to restore your new iPhone again. Make sure that you turn Off ICloud functionality on your old iPhone before you delete anything else from it.

I have same issue. I click on the home button and Wake/sleep at the same time for 30 seconds or more and then the phone entered in Recovery mode. It is erasing my content now and installing the update. Let´s see how this ends. I have iCloud, iTunes match, and backups from previos versions, hope I can restore all my content.
Otherwise I´ll go to the Genius Bar to do a checkup.

It did not work the first time... The iPhone4 kept in limbo. Then I did disconnect as suggested above and tried again to enter in Recovery mode. This second time it works. And after restoring the iPhone4 with 7.0.3, it asked me if I want to recover from backup. I did recover from my latest back up and now it is syncing the content.

Are you absolutely sure the app is installed? Go into the App Store, search for Facebook and tap 'Free' and 'Install' if they are available.
If it says 'installed' then make sure you don't have it hidden away in a folder, by dragging down from the center of the home screen and searching for it.
