Trying to update my iPhone 4 to the new IOS and it is saying that i cannot. it said to restore everything so i did and now it is saying that i cant activate im very frustrated and a little ****** help please
Your phone is in recovery mode. You need to restore it.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

I am trying to update my billing detail on my IPAD2. However it keep on saying that the country need at least 3 characters long. But the country field is a dropdown list with Malaysia's states all with 2 characters long only! I can't make any purchase now because I can't verify the billing detail because it just doesn't work! I just updated my RAM (replaced the two 2 gig cards with two Corsair 8 gig cards) and I keep getting a crash report. I have a 21.5 Inch mid 2010 imac. I also am experiencing slow load times with Photoshop and when I try to open Final Cut it says that quartz extreme is not compatible and that I have no VRAM even though I do.

The recommendation on here, mostly, is to only buy RAM from macsales.com or crucial.com as they guarantee their modules will work and offer a no quibble lifetime guarantee.
I'd put the original RAM back in, return the Corsair chips for a refund and re-order from one of those two companies.

I am from Kosovo, in Kosovo there isn't any apple store, I took my phone to fix in a shop and they changed my Icloud, my phone is now deactivated accidentally but the shops password has been hacked. I dont know what to do about it. If there was an apple store here i could take my phone there and fix it but i dont know what to do since i can't find the Icloud password. My phone remains deactivated. The people from mobi shop dont take the responisibility they say its not their fault the Icloud got hacked. Please help me because Iphones are very expensive here I had to work alot to get one. And when i finally got one it doesnt work.

Just upgraded my iPad to IOS5 and when the download was completed, a window said that there was an error and it could not restore. Now I have a black screen with the Apple logo and the circle lines. None of the buttons respond. Help, please!!
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Maybe this will let the iPad reboot and then you may need to restore again but see if this helps to start the iPad first.

I tried to update my iPod and now it's saying that iTunes cannot connect the iPod. What should I do?
I updated my iTunes and then went to update my iPod to the newer 4.2 version that it kept asking me to and now it says that iTunes cannot connect the iPod. My iPod is now unusbale because the screen on the iPod itself shows that i need to connect it to iTunes, but when I do, there's an error message that pops up telling me that iTunes cannot connect it. No, the app does not have to completely restart. It gets shifted in its open state into storage. Similar to how a computer uses the hard disk when it has insufficient memory.
What complicates things is that sometimes memory does not get returned for reuse when you close an app. Thus yo should periodically double click the Home button and "delete" unnecessary apps from the multitasking dock and power off and then back on the iPod. -

when i connect my ipod to the computer a box pops up and says that itunes cannot locate/read this file, and if the problem persists to uninstall itunes and then reinstall, but i have my own user on the computer, so if i uninstall it on my user will it uninstall it on every user?

I'm having trouble updating software for my iphone 4s from 5.0.1 to 5.1 but each time i plug into itunes to download it says network connection cannot be established and the phone just says an error has occured. What can i do?
If you don't have iOS 5, plug your iPhone into your computer, select it in iTunes, and in the Summary, click Check for Update.
If you do have iOS 5, it has onboard updates so you don't have to plug it in, just go to Settings, click General, click Software Update and you will be presented with iOS 5.1 which came out a few hours ago. Both my iPhone 3GS and iPad are already updated to iOS 5.1 now. -
attempted to download latest update for iphone 4s. update had something to do with the calendar. during the update the picture appeared with usb prompting me to connect to itunes. when connected pop up appeared stating my phone was in recovery mode and needed to be restored. clicked tab to restore and pop up appeared stating could not restore. the device iphone cannot be found. any solutions to this problem?

Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.
