    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

    Once I established a better WIFI connection, I solved this problem. I originally suspected it was an IOS-ITunes capability problem. Despite downloading the audiobook, I wasn't able to access it unless I plugged iPhone into Mac.

    I was using the 2e Gen appl tv with a 720p Tv... and all was perfect...
    Now, i have new Smart Tv LG 1080p with 120hz...
    i change my apple tv for a 3e Gen with the full 1080p
    But, when a go with Apple tv to "Computer" and listen a movie i buy on Itunes Stores
    I see some "LAG" sometime, like if was playing in my computer to a Game and using my internet to dwl others thing...
    If i use Youtube, of video buy on Itunes stores... all its okay... only when is a movie...
    Someone can help me??

    The big problem is when I start a movie on my Pc and switch to my appel tv with airplay, or, when a go watch a movie directly with appel tv... all movie i listen have some Lag during the viewing. Its not fluid...
    the Appel Tv is good for 1080p 60hz
    my tv can go to 1080p 120hz...
    i don't know if its maybe that the probleme... my tv have a to hight 120hz for the appel tv who have only 60hz ?

    If your iPad connects to other networks without problem you may have a problem with your router.
    Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. When you have this problem go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
    There may be a problem with the DHCP daemon in your router which prevented the timely return of an IP address. Turning WiFi off/on on your iPad gives it another chance which might succeed. Restarting your router by removing power to it for 30 seconds might clear up this problem. However, it might be necessary to check for a firmware update for your router at the router manufacturer support web page.
    If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

    I have a 3rd Gen iPad with wifi only that I bought about 40 days ago.   Initially I had no problem downloading and updating apps but in the past few weeks I get "unable to connect to iTunes Store" over 90% of the time.   I always verfity the Internet connection is good and I've tried on my home wifi, my cellphone's mobile hotspot, and several hotel wifi connections.     The other day I went into settings and noticed the Security code for my Credit Card was blank so I filled it in and clicked "done".  Unable to connect so I checked back and the code was still blank.   I deleted and redid my CC info and messed with some other settings and iTunes finally let me update some apps.   Now I'm back home and it's giving me the error message again.    I'm wondering if this is a known issue or if there's a fix for it.

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

    Go to a place in France and purchase an iTunes gift card. You should be able to use that in the French iTunes store if you have a French address associated with your iTunes account.

    You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
    Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
    Click "Manage your account"
    When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
    Click Password & Security
    You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
    Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

    The "..at this time" message" sometimes appears when an atypical home folder (eg. one on a network share) isn't available for some reason. I don't use "Filevault", but that might qualify as atypical, since the home of a "Filevault" account actually resides on a disk image.
    Since you were able to attach and mount the ".sparseimage", it would appear that at least your ".sparseimage" is not corrupt, so the most dreaded reason for being unable to log in to a "filevault" account fortunately doesn't apply. Before attempting to troubleshoot this issue, just make sure that you are able to "mount" your backup copy to make sure it transferred successfully.
    I'm guessing but it could be that by attempting to change the account password using the disk, the repair tech created a situation where the "account password" does not match the ".sparseimage" password. The two must be in agreement for login to proceed smoothly, and this is why the "Accounts" pref pane will not let you change a "Filevault" account password unless you are actually logged in to that account. By using the disk, the tech bypassed this safeguard. The first thing to do would be to try to reset your "account password" - there are other ways to do this, one of which is to boot the computer from the installer disk to use the "Reset Password" function.

    Make sure to set it to exactly what it was before - ie. identical to the password that is known to have unlocked the ".sparseimage" file. Then reboot and see if you can log in with that password. If not, log in to any other account, open "/Applications" > "Utilities" > "Terminal.app" and post the output of this command, substituting the appropriate username:<pre>nicl . -read /users/username</pre>

    Not all content types are available in all countries, and the UAE is one of those countries where you can't buy films, TV shows, or music from Apple (a full list of what is available where is shown on this page). Ultimately it is down to the licenseholders/distributors to make their content available to Apple to sell in a particular country. Do you have access to other media purchase download sites in the UAE ?
