HT4623 Updated my iphone 5 yesterday and now no 3G??? Do I need to reset something else?
I updated my iphone 5 yesterday to IOS 6.1 and have had no 3G since. Is there something else I need to reset? 3G worked fine before.
So instead of 3G, what do you have? Make sure your cellular data is turned on, first off. Does the phone say 'no service?'

I had the same problem and the fix was so easy that I felt a little silly after spending 2 hours with an Apple Technician. At the end of it all, what I had to do was make sure ALL music was deleted from my iPhone 5 by going into usage and clearing out the music folder. All I had to do then was turn my phone off and turn it back on again. I had not done this after my phone upgraded to the new 7.0 IOS. What's the first thing you do when experiencing computer problems? Reboot! It fixed my problem and now my iPhone 5 synchs perfectly when I had it connected to my computer. I am also on iTunes version 11.1.

Did you check for a carrier settings update?

To confirm that your iPhone or iPad Wi-Fi + 4G can share its cellular data connection using Personal Hotspot, tapSettings > General > Network > Personal Hotspot.
If you don't see this option and your carrier supports this feature, check for a carrier settings update. If you still cannot enable this feature, contact your carrier for additional information. -

My mom updated her iPhone to iOS7, and now she has my contacts. Does this mean that she has access to all of my photos as well? How can she 'unlink' our phones? Or, is there anyway that I can get my stuff to disappear from her phone? We share iTunes account so I think we are both on the same iCloud.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you are using the same ID as a primary iCloud login, then yes she can see your photos in photostream if you have it enabled.
You can use the same ID for iTunes so you can share all your purchases, but you need different ID's for iCloud.
Unfortunately, the mess caused by sharing the ID, will need to be sorted manually, once you both have your own ID's. -

Icloud uses you Apple ID. It one of the Key feature on the new ATV. Restart the ATV, if that doesn't work unplug it and restart it. It should resolve the issue

This may sound crazy, but download any free app. This often "shocks" the other apps into working.

Not clear just what you are seeing - does the iPhone screen show the USB cable pointing to iTunes? If that is what you are seeing then it has entered the recovery mode and has to be restored by following the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Updated my iPhone 3gs yesterday to ios 6 (first time ever). Backed up my content to icloud, but it wouldn't quit. Remained on that screen for HOURS. Finally disconnected phone from computer. Still would not go away--just the "circle of death." Restarted phone and lost EVERYTHING (pics, contacts and apps). Can I get them back? Are they somewhere out in cyberspace or lost for good?
You're not alone. I am having similar problems with my Ipod 5th gen 30gb.
When I connect it to my laptop (Vista - basic) it is not recognised by itunes. Itunes simply locks up.
So far I have tried the following to no avail:
Checked my pc's device manager - it recognises the device and says it is functioning properly.
Checked the drivers to make sure they are upt to date.
Uninstalled & reinstalled a previous version of itunes (as it worked fine before the latest release).
Reinstalled the latest itunes.
Reset the ipod.
Put the ipod into disk mode and reconnected to itunes.
Have tried to use the windows tool to scan and fix any bad sectors but it fails to complete a scan without locking that up as well.
Placed into disk mode when fully charged and then allowed the battery to drain completely. Then reconnected ipod (in disk mode)and it still is not recognised and locks up itunes.
At this point I dont really want to part with another $300 odd dollars for a new one. -
My iPhone froze up yesterday while trying to check facebook. It completely shut off and now won't turn back on??? We've tried to reset it and push the buttons together, but nothing is happening?? I can get the apple icon to come up...but that is all?? Please help

This last week (of 17 Sep 12) I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 and now my Yahoo mail does not work. I keep getting a "Yahoo server busy" message. This problem has not effected the update to my iPad 3 - it works fine. In addition, I have deleted and added my Yahoo mail - same result. Same here, albeit with a 3G and both a work Exchange account and personal Gmail are out of action. Reentered my password on the Gmail to no avail.
Unfortunately it seems that increased success has come too fast to Apple, it's starting to display Microsoft-like behaviors, e.g., releasing stuff and letting the customers serve as the beta / guinea pigs. -
