My iPhone froze on the apple screen and wont change. What should i do?
Will it work with any approved Apple carrier sim
If so it is unlocked or hacked
(if you try to update iOS and it locks to a carrier it is hacked )

When my iphone was updating it operating software, the USB cable came out of the port. Now the screen will only show the USB cable and the itunes icon. It is not recognized by the itunes store. I unintalled the USB driver for the iphone, but it still does not work. I have turned off the phone and performed a reset.
Try another Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts. This usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. If still problem you should Restore your iPhone with iTunes on computer. Here are simple steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click Restore Button of iTunes.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

I tried to update my iphone to the ios6 software, and during the update there was an error. My phone is currently stuck in recovery mode and it says the only solution is to restore the phone. I don't want to lose my media, contacts, etc. Do I have any other options?

HT201210 iPhone freezing during restore.....
My iPhone 4 keeps freezing about 60% way through a restore, according to iTunes when the firmware is being updated. Any ideas how to fix? I have tried a different computer, disabling my security software etc. and still no luck :o( (Windows)
I was doing exactly what you suggested for hours prior to posting my question. I tried restoring, I tried restore/update over and over and it would always freeze between 25-75% through. I restarted my laptop 20 times, uninstalled and reinstalled itunes 4 times. Finally, today I was so frustrated that when I saw it freeze up one more time, I just pulled the power cord out of my laptop and walked away. An hour later I booted back up and set it to restore before I left the room and ....magic, it finally worked. Whether the unplug event had any real connection, I don't know.
If anyone does freeze during an update and has the "connect to itunes screen with the red itunes logo" stuck on their iphone screen, modular 747 is correct. Just keep trying the restore/update through itunes, but be prepared to do it non-stop for almost 72 hours like I did. -
Iphone froze during iOS update
My iPhone 4s froze up the other day. I was installing the newest iOS update. It starts with the apple logo and then a progress bar starts to build underneath it not long after that starts it switches to a loading wheel that freezes up until it starts the process all over again. I tried both holding the power button and the soft reset which both just start this same process over again. I tried connecting to my MacBook but it says I need to verify on the phone that I want to connect to iTunes, which I can't do because I get nothing on the screen besides what I already described. Any suggestions? Thank You.

It varies based on what you ordered and whether it is in stock or has to be assenbled and shipped from China. Your email conformation should give an estimate of when the items are expected to be shipped or available for pick up if you are having it sent to a local Apple Store.

I downloaded 4.0.1 Saturday and have had 10 updates so far, including 5 today. I am now up to 4.0.10.
Since I updated, Firefox keeps locking up while I am using it. It is now locking during the updates.

What is wrong with Firefox and when am I going to be able to get on the web without locking up constantly?I have Internet Explorer as well, but, It says I need Adobe to go to Facebook. When I try to download Adobe, I says IE must be my primary browser. I have no idea how to change, do you?
Firefox is especially bad at locking up when I am playing games. Have you had this problem?
I will switch immediately if I can figure out how.

Sorry to say your installation must have been unsuccessful.
A normal installation would not do this.
Uninstall, run the cleanscript* and try again (maybe your AV is too agressive).
