What is new in ios 7.0.3?
One thing that is mentioned, but not really emphasized, is that the zooming when opening and closing Apps is now gone when the reduce motion setting is enabled. I guess too many people where claiming sea sickness and Apple wanted to avoid lawsuits.
Now the nay sayers will have to refocus their efforts and complain about the font and the icons. -

i searched on the internet but couldn't find anything..Do you know what's new in ios 5.1.1(9B208)???Apple has, from time to time, found issues with iOS builds and re-released them for update to devices. That may be what triggered this update. But, as of this date, Apple has not commented.

I've been wondering what the most up to date iOS I can use on my 3rd gen iPod touch. I can't update it from my iPod like everybody suggests I do, do I have to connect it to the computer or is iOS 5.1.1 the most up to date iOS I can get.

My iPod touch 5th Gen iOS 8.1 won't turn on, charge and CONNECT TO iTUNES.
Maybe this is because of the new release ios 8.1 where after the update it went
recovery mode then i didn't restore, i set up a new ipod.

There was something you could have done, bought extended warrenty, would have covered this. Apple is outside of it's one year warrenty policy, they had the agreement, and when you update you also sign an agreement that you would be responsiable for any problems that occur.
The best thing you can do is the Out of warrenty for 199$; you didn't get additional coverage; something bad happen, be glad they offer the OOW. -
