When I try to launch the Itunes app on my Iphone, it starts and then quits right away. What should I do?

I would reinstall iOS 7.
Open iTunes (11.1 or later) on your computer and plug your iPhone into your computer.
Sync your iPhone with iTunes.
Click on your iPhone device and from the Summary Tab, Back up using iCloud and/or iTunes.
On your iPhone, open Settings/iCloud and turn off Find My Phone.
In iTunes, click on the Restore button on the Summary tab next to Check for Updates.
iTunes will completely wipe your phone and reinstall iOS 7.
Setup your iPhone as new and restore from your back up.
Check to see if the iTunes app is functioning correctly and not closing on you.
I did this last night when setting Limit Ad Tracking kept closing Settings and taking me back to the Home screen. After reinstalling iOS 7, the issue went away.

There is a bit of troubleshooting on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1368 - it also suggests checking that the date and time are correct on your device. You could also try disconnecting and reconnecting to your network

Me too - running iTunes 10.5.3 on Windows 7. Will allow me to sign in to iTunes, download app updates and then if I either close iTunes or try to sign out of my iTunes account it all freezes. So frustrating, because my understanding is that iTunes saves the library file when exiting. So, everytime I update apps I lose all the downloads.

This message is due an error of connection.
Try to change the usb or use your origin cable.
Also, you can desactivate your firewall if you are using windows7...

Anyone else having this problem?: iTunes movies download successfully, but the iTunes Extras keep downloading down to 99% and then quit, saying I should "make sure to have connection and try again".

This has already happened with two of the movies I purchased. I can watch the actual movie, but when I try download the Extras, the same error keeps popping up. "Make sure your network is active and try again." The movies downloaded just fine, why not the Extras?

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Look on one of your bank statements and be sure to enter the billing address exactly as it shows on the statement. Some folks forget where they actually get the statement. They put their home address in iTunes/Mac App Store and they actually get the statement at their place of employment or vice versa.
