HT4623 while upgrading my phone I got an error message 6
I was upgrading my iPhone 4 to the iOS and I got an error message 6 and now it says I have to restore my iPhone and lose all my data and I haven't backed up my phone. Any way I can reverse this and save my information??
It's in recovery mode. The data is already gone. If you didn't back it up, there is no way to recover it.
If you were performing the update using the computer it normally syncs with, it should have done a backup at the beginning of the process, before installing the new version of iOS.

HT4623 after doing a update I got an error message and now itunes will not reconize my phone
all I can see on my phone screen is the itunes logo and the connector picture and when I plug it into the computer, itunes doesn't reconize it...

I was trying to back up my phone and got an error message and cannot use my phone at all... There is a picture of an itunes icon and a cord. I cannot get to my phone or any settings or icons.... HELP. I'm not sure of my operating system or which iphone 4 it is....
Open current iTunes on your computer. Connect iPhone to the computer with USB Cable. Follow directions or click the Restore button of iTunes.

I just replaced my iPhone 5 because of a cracked face. I backed up the old phone to iTunes. When I tried to restore my data off of iTunes to the new phone, I got an error message saying that iTunes could not restore the iPhone because not enough free space is available on the new iPhone. Now what?
I have Apple Care+, but I'll be darned if I can find any way to contact anyone at Apple to talk to about this. They take your money, but make darned sure they don't have to support you unless you jump through a bunch of hoops first, like this site.I've done a restore.. The phone was completely wiped back to factory settings.. It then tells me there isn't enough space on the phone to restore from back up? How when the phone is empty?!

I received an error message when attempting to install the latest update as well. Went through all steps, downloaded through Itunes and when asked to update my apple id by entering an e -mail, the following error message appears:
Could not sign in
There was a problem connecting to the server.
However, I was able to access google/gmail account servers prior to installing iOS 6. Now my phone is stuck at this error message and I can't use it! -
After upgrading to IOS 7 on my iPhone 4 and iTunes 11 on my PC, I plugged my iPhone into my PC and got the error message that I needed to install iTunes 11 on my iPhone. Any suggestions?
You got it downloaded and I assume you mean it is installed as well. It was buggy for me.
I had to close and restarted iTunes before I could use it properly.
Then, I had to unplug and replug in my phone before it recognises it.
Just had to try everything. As final choice, update over the air. I try to avoid it as it tends to have more problems than a tethered update. -

The disk you are using probably has a defect, not uncommon on consumer grade disks. Try another disk or better yet another disk from a different manufacturer or at least a different batch.

I don't know EG01 transaction, but if SAP says "material 5 does not exist " then SAP is usually right.

when attempting a restore, as suggested, to try and fix a week wifi signal on my iphone 5 I got past the point where the sopftware was extracted from my phone but then an error message appeared saying that the phone could not be restored becase of an unknown error (3014). I have tried about 20 times to make it work after trying a number of suggestions I have seen online. Error 9006 when restoring your iOS device indicates that there is security software on your computer which is preventing connection to the Apple server or your device. To troubleshoot this issue please follow the directions below.

Why, if it told you you have insufficient space on your computer, would it suggest making more space available on your phone?
At a guess, you have insufficient space on your phone. Installing software will typically require more space than the final size of the software, perhaps even twice or three times as much, for the installation process. You can easily dump some videos or music temporarily, and then synch them back in afterwards. -

It sounds as if your Windows computer is not detecting the iPad in iTunes. Let's see if we can get that fixed up.

I need help, I pluged my iphone to itunes and got a message that said there was an update to download and update, I did but when itunes was rebooting and updating I got an error message. and now the phone is telling me that it cant be activated, to plug it in to itunes or to contact support care.
That message usually indicates that your phone was hacked to unlock it from the original phone carrier, then when you updated or restored it locked back to that carrier.
