I don't understand how to fix this and I don't seem to understand where the problem is coming from.

Let's try the simple approach first. Restart your router. Any change?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! First I would try backing up and erasing all content and settings, but if that doesn't resolve the issue you can use iTunes to restore your iOS device - part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.

I was looking through our resources and found an article with information regarding that error message. The article is called iTunes for Windows XP: "Disk is locked" or "iTunes folder cannot be found" when installing or opening iTunes found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1866.
Here is the text but the article contains images for a visual reference:
Verify the location of your Windows XP My Music folder. The default location for this folder is
C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music
If you do not have this folder at the default location and have not moved it to another location, consider creating one inside your My Documents folder.
Download and install Tweak UI from the Microsoft PowerToys website athttp://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
Note: This utility is for Windows XP only. Please review the system requirements before installing.
Once you have installed Tweak UI, open it from the Start menu.
In the column on the left, click on the plus symbol next to My Computer and select Special Folders.
In the right pane under Special Folders, choose My Music from the Folder pop-up menu.
Click the Change Location button. You may see a warning message appear with precautions for changing this setting; after reviewing the message, click Yes.
In the resulting window, browse for the My Music folder as described in step 1, and click OK.
Reinstall or open iTunes.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, the settings for the current user may be corrupted, which could cause iTunes not to install or open. You may have to install and open iTunes in a different Windows user account.

IPhone 4S personal hotspot "No Internet connection"

I am trying to tether wifi to my toshiba pc that is running on windows 7 from my iPhone 4S But When I try doing this my computer registers the connection to my phone but it comes up with "No Internet connection"
Can someone please help me out with this.

I had a lot of trouble connecting my pc. The Blue Bar was saying ! connection & I could see throughput but it wouldn't go online. & in my case I used USB but you may find this usefull....
This is what I did:
in settings under Safari on my 4s II cleared all cookies & history & I set Accept cookies to ALWAYS
then on the PC I created a 2nd LA connection in network connections. The 1st is connected to a router with WIFI but so far I have persisited with USB as WIFI seemed less likely but it may work now, I havn't checked.
I then opened propeties of the LA connection 2 & hit the ADVANCED tab & checked "Allow other network uses to connect to this computers internet connection".
I then opened Settings in the 'Internet connection Sharing' dialog & an SERVICES tab opens. In this page there is a list of check boxs for ..internet protocals, DNS servers, mail servers etc. Check them all.
this time when I opened my browser it finally got online.
I then opened the settings list again & there were some extra checkboxes from some extra protocals, whatever that it found after it first loaded up google search page.

However, there is no disk listed in the selection screen. Why is there no disk in the selection screen?

You haven't formatted the SSD, so you can't install Mac OS X.
First, close the OS X installer and open Disk Utility. Then, choose the SSD at the top of the sidebar, go to Erase tab, choose "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)" as "Format", and press Erase. Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X. See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html

Internet works but games can't connect

My internet somewhat works . I can browse the web and watch youtube, but games act as if I have no connection. I cannot log into/play League of Legends, Battle.Net, MSN, Steam, WoW. The internet was working fine when I left to travel in early December, but the issue was first observed when I came back on 17th of January. So I doubt that a change of settings has caused the issue. Can anyone suggest possible solutions? I've already tried using Google DNS and using other computers.

Hi Ben, it's a CG3100D-2. But I'm happy to report that I've solved the issue. I believe Telstra has sometimes to consider that there are users with experience in networking that change configurations of modems. In my case I had the modem configured to work on a different subnet as some older devices I had were pre-configured to run in 192.168.1.x. So I changed the internal IP address of the router to 192.168.1.1 and limited the DHCP scope to about 20 IP addresses. That worked fine for years until possibly (my theory) Telstra Air came. I signed up and somehow, so my theory, Telstra Air requires the modem to be on 192.168.0.1. Not sure why this is, but when I changed the IP and subnet back to default (192.168.0.1) respectively 192.168.0.x the symptoms were gone. To test it I changed it back to 192.168.1.1 (note, that guest network 1 also needed to be moved, otherwise there was a conflict) the symptoms appeared again. Not sure what causes the drop outs then, but I'll leave it Telstra technicians who should have an explanation for that :-) All good now and maybe something for a knowledge base and other users.

Why does my Verizon Iphone 5 personal hotspot sometimes not work? I have to keep turning it on and off for it to come up. This is a problem that I am having when connecting to a computer PC and MAC and a Ipod Touch and my Ipad.

This issue is making me start to think that I have a defective peice of equipment. It seems as though i have to restart the hotspot multiple times for it to work and when it does work it drops the device after being tether to it, and then I have to start the whole process over again.

I HAVE RESOLVED THIS!! The problem was that I was signed in to iCloud on my iphone with an old Apple ID and using a different Apple ID on my pc. I signed out of iCloud on my phone, then re-signed in with the same id as the iCloud on my pc. Presto chango. All is well.

Now the first question is, when you are saying connecting to personal hotspot, have you always been using the iPhone to connect to the internet? Are you someplace where the only place to connect is available via tethering to the iPhone's celluar network? Or do you have other options?

When connected to the pc it shows on the iphone screen '1 connection' but the pc says 'no internet connection' I've spoken to three who say it must be a phone fault. Any help appreciated. :-)

Thanks for these suggestions: I have tried safe mode re-starts (both "verbose" and simple "shift" + power) to no avail. I get the error message "disk0s2: media is not present". Following this I inserted the installation disc and from there ran disc utility. The "Verify Disk" indicated an error " invalid sibling link" which it could not repair.
I also tried to completely re-format/erase the disk, but again got an error message "disk object invalid or unable to serialize".
Any ideas of what could be causing this or the best solution? I fear I am fast running out of options.

Try a #1 SMC Reset and see the Apple links, if that doesn't work make a appointment for a evaluation.
