As of right now when I open a new tab it is a blank page. I would like a new tab to go right to my home page or open a search option. I could not find a way to make Firefox do that. Is it an available option?

I would like to load the 4th bay in my mac with a 2TB HDD and format it with the old system 4.11 will I have any problems?Since it's a MacPro1,1, it originally shipped with Mac OS X 10.4.7 and will run Mac OS X 10.4.11 when installed from its original disks(or the Mac OS X Server 10.4 Universal Binary) and updated.

I would like to transfer my iMovie video from my Mac to a DVD. Can this be done?
I'm quite new to "iMovie", but I have some video of an event I shot for a friend. I'd like to send her a DVD of the "raw" footage now that I've dumped it off the camera to iMovie. Is do-able? How?

IDVD is easy to get. It is available on disk as part of iLife 11.
IDVD is a wonderful piece of software and well worth the low cost of $40. (works with all Mac OS 10.5 and newer.) -
Have just migrated from the world of PC's. and I had my mail text typing set up so that when I started a new sentence after a full stop it started with a capital with out me pressing shift. also, i could set up words to self fill like ur would auto correct to your. can this be done with mac
I don't know about the first letter cap but the spelling is simple. Edit - Spelling and Grammar - Select While Typing and Correct Spelling Automatically.

Not sure if anyone can help but I have a copy of Photoshop CS5.1. Ever since it was installed, every now and again when I try do something simple like save a file or scale something using the Transform tool, in fact anything at all it comes up with "Could not complete your request because of a program error". Have thought about re-installing it but I have lost my serial number. I'm living in Ireland and trying to get to talk to someone in tech support is a complete joke. Any ideas what to do ? Thanks

Can this be done somehow? I would like to see an App or Apple guidance where I can identify my name or telephone number to certain phone contacts that I can choose from with my address book. As it stands now, it all or nothing. Thanks
Not sure what they offer in Canada, but I use Google Voice. It provides a phone number that will ring through to your phone (or multiple phones if you want). There is a free app you can use to place calls so they appear from your Google Voice # instead of your 'real' number.
I use the Google # for business calls/texts and only use "my" number for personal stuff. Google gives you control over things like call screening and allows you te set timers for when it is permitted to ring through to your normal number, which is great for business calls. If I'm not on call, I keep the timer set to shut it down except during business hours.

Standard troubleshooting...

IP5 set up with all options...however new emails OLD like 13-14 years old have arrived in the IN BOX that say no "this message has no content", and I am not able to delete them. Any helpful ideas?

When I try to buy something, I get an Apple-ID which is not the one I want to use, and I don't know how to get rid of it either, so that I can replace it with my ID in Mail, contacts etc. The ID I get without wanting it, I can't find anywhere. I have to delete it. How do I solve this problem, anyone?
My content was obtained through another ID, which popped up earlier. Now this one doesn't pop up, and my current ID doesn't pop up either, but another one. How do you find an ID which is not in the store, and not in Mail, contacts etc. either?
Or is it possible to write the ID yourself when you want to buy something, not only to have it popped up being unable to be changed? -
My iphone 4 is telling me I have to restore but when I plug in and connect to itunes, it freezes about 30-50 % through the process. Now I can't use my phone at all? I am waiting about 1-3 hours for this process to finish and nothing ever happens. HELP!!
Put it into DFU mode - hold the sleep/wake button and home button until the screen goes black (ignoring the slide to turn off slider). When the screen goes black release the sleep/wake button but hold the home button. Continue holding the home button for 10 seconds, then release it. The screen should stay black. Plug it into iTunes and it should come up with this message "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. It must be restored before use", that's when it is successfully in DFU mode. Now press the restore button in iTunes and it should run smoothly :)
