HT4710 Where do I find previously purchased guitar lessons on Garage Band?

I've just tried to redownload a previously purchased lesson from within an updated Garage Band.
It did aknowledge that I had already purchased the item/lesson and, as it usualy did with the songs from iTunes a few months ago (just before iCloud), it asked me if I wanted to repurchase the item.
As I had no other visible way of redownloading the lesson I pressed the ok button.
The problem is that, afterwards, it did, in fact, charge my credit card for this redownload. As a matter of fact it did charge my credit card twice since I did click the button a second time few seconds after, as I wasn't sure that everything was right.
So now, I've paied 3 times for the same lesson:
- 1st one, the 9th of January of 2010.
- 2nd and 3rd, the 11th of August of 2012.
Does anyone know how can I redownload all the lessons I've purchased back in 2010?
Since I've updated to the latest version of Garage Band (sold through the App Store) I've lost all of them. What can I do?
I know Apple aknowledges the sell of those (anyway I have the invoices), but I can't find any of those applestore purchases I've made prior to the last 18 months (I'm refering to my Apple Store Account > Orders page)
And since now we don't have Express Lane anymore I'm in a deathend!
Thanks in advance for any help!

Have you already tried this?
GarageBand: Re-downloading Learn to Play Artist Lessons
To download a purchased Learn to Play Artist Lesson again later:
Log in to your Apple Store account and vIew your order history.
Click any lesson to download it again.
For me this worked beautifully. After signing into the account and viewing the Order history, I found Sting waiting for me to download again.

  • Where do I find the "Puzzle Piece" icon in garage band for Ipad 2?

I Recently downloaded the "Garage Band" app for my Ipad 2. I began a new song, with two sections - section A and section b. Every time I try and play the song, it only plays one section, depending on which one I scrole to.
I Looked up this problem on the internet and saw that someone had a similar problem. I eventually found instruction to click on the "Puzzle Piece" icon in Garage Band and that there would be instruction to do so from that icon. Problem is, I cannot find the icon in this app, any where.
Can anyone describe where I can find this "Puzzle Piece" icon, either with words or a screen shot Of the app?  Thanks!

Tap the "+" icon (the song section button) at the topRight of the timeline;  then tap "All Sections".

  • Where can I find tutorials on older versions of Garage Band

I am a teacher and need tutorials that match the older versions of the sofware we have purchased in the classroom.  We don't have the funds to keep up on the latest hardware/software and when we create webpages linking to the tutorials, they are removed are moved with the software updates, which is very frustrating.
Anyone know were Apple hides the tutorials for older versions of iLife??
    Thanks much

  • TS1474 I can't find previously purchased audiobooks on my computer, these downloads ar older than 90 days.

I can't find previously purchased audiobooks on my computer, these downloads ar older than 90 days.

I have no clue what you mean. If you downloaded the audiobooks in iTunes on your computer or of you transferred the audiobooks from the iPad to iTunes via the transfer purchases feature, the books should be in your iTunes library,
If you are looking to download them again in the purchased section of iTunes, you have to buy them again. Audiobooks cannot be downloaded again for free. They are not part of iTunes in the cloud.

  • Where can I find the purchases that were made from itunes and apps?

Where can I find the purchases that were made from itunes and apps?

You can view the full purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
On an iOS device you can only view the last 90 days purchases (and optionally contact iTunes Support if you have a problem with one of them) via http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • Where can I find the purchase date of my ipod?

I bought my ipod from the Navy Exchange and bought additional insurance from them. They need the date I purchased my ipod so they can determine if it is still covered (whic I know it is but I don't have my reciept anymore as proof). Can anyone tell me where I can find my purchase date? If not that, then where I can find when my warranty started? I'm guessing that the warranty starts from the day you purchased your ipod so that information whould be helpful.

  • Where do I find my purchased ringtone

where do i find my purchased ring tone in my iphone?

If you allow iTunes to organize your music, each one should be filed in the appropriate artist folder within your music folder. Why do you ask?
If you deleted the Purchased playlist in iTunes and want to get it back, try this:
You can recreate the playlist by creating a Smart playlist.
In iTunes choose File > New Smart Playlist
Choose Match Any  (You must add more than one rule to get the choice of "any" or "all")
    Kind Contains Protected
    +
    Kind Contains Purchased
    Check Live updating

  • How do I find  Previously  Purchased Shows?

I downloaded Season 5 of Stargate Atlantis (yes I am fan) to my laptop. I ended up wiping my laptop due to a virus I got on it. I went back to Manufacture's specs.
Now I have downloaded Itunes again back on to my laptop and still have my same account as I did before but no Previously purchased items.
I spent almost $25.00 on these downloads, and please don't tell me I have to download them again, its bad enough I can't burn them to DVD
Anyhow Thanks in advance for anyone's help

If you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from (as you are advised to do) then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and you might be able to persuade them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. If you click on this link you'll be able to email your query: iTMS Customer Service
If you have an iPod that still has the purchases on it the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer

  • Finding Previously Purchased Music

I had purchased iTunes music about a year ago. My old PC has been reimaged and I am now using a new PC. I went to purchase a song and it stated I already purchased it. How do I get old music that I previously purchased downloaded into my current library?

    You don't.
The music will only be where you put it. Where is your backup copy? You should back up your music, particularly purchased music.

  • HT203167 I can not find previous purchases

I can not see previous purchases ,and I can not up date any apps

If you are trying to see your purchase history then you should be able to do that on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu.
If you are wanting to re-download past purchases then not all content types can be re-downloaded in all countries (e.g. music, films, tv shows can't be re-downloaded in all, and audiobooks and ringtones can't be re-downloaded anywhere), but what you can re-download whould show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes and App Store apps, and via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.

  • How do I find my downloaded guitar lessons?

I recently downloaded some video guitar lessons that I had purchased from a website using firefox as my browser. Don't know what version it is but it was updated very recently. The computer i used is a toshiba satellite C655 with windows 7. The problem is that I cannot find the these particular downloads anywhere on this piece of crap they call a computer. Should have bought a Mac but that's another story. There is no sign of anything related on the desktop, I have looked in all of the files in the windows explorer libraries, every file in the users folder including the downloads file. There is no sign of them being in windows media player or in itunes.  Nothing. I tried downloading them again and still nothing.
I have bought and downloaded guitar lessons from the same website before with no problems. I have considered the possibility of the problem being with the website but I have downloaded the same lessons to my iMac successfully. The reason for downloading to the toshiba satellite is because my iMac is outdated and the videos are choppy.

They are probably on another screen. Swipe with your finger to go to another screen. The line of gray dots above the bottom row of apps show the number of screens. If you have OS 3.0, you can search for them by name.
Go to Settings -> General -> About to see your phone's OS version.

  • Where can I download the first guitar lesson. It is supposed to come preinstalled but I don't have it. How can I get it?

One of the reasons I upgraded to GarageBand 11 was that I wanted to use the tutorials and the free lessons. But although I've been able to download all the free tutorials, I am missing the first one that is supposed to come preinstalled. Can somebody tell me where or how can I get the "Intro to guitar lesson" that I am missing?

I have this problem as well. All the other lessons are there, but not the first one. I see 5 or 6 threads here about this but no replies. What's the deal?

  • Guitar recording in Garage Band, 2012 MacBook Pro 13"

I hope someone can point me in the right direction here...
I bought a brand new 2012, 13", MacBook Pro a few days ago for a number of reasons, but the main being music recording. After purchasing I realized there is no LINE-IN on the new MacBook?! I browsed a few forums to find that others are having the same issue I am.
I decided to buy a chord called a Lightsnake, that is a 1/4" guitar jack on one end, and USB on the other. However, there is a slight delay between when I pluck a string, to the audio coming through my headphones. It makes the chord unusable because I can never layer tracks perfectly.
Does anyone know of another solution that isn't going to run me a few hundred dollars that will allow me to record my guitar into Garage Band? I'm still within the 30-day return policy, and if I cannot find a reasonable solution I'm going to have to upgrade to the 15" MacBook Pro, which comes with the line-in?! (Which is a whole separate annoyance for another forum post)
Please Help!! This is my first MacBook after being a Windows user forever, and I'm already questioning my decision.
Thanks in advance for any help.

First of all, let me welcome you to the Apple world, where the grass is always greener on this side. Don't question your decision, you made the right choice.
    Regarding your question:
    Solution 1: external
You can use an external audio interface via the USB bus. There are plenty to choose from in any price range. The more expensive ones provide a lower "latency" and I think that is the problem with your cheaper Lightsnake device. It has a built-in analog-digital converter in it and that must be not that good of a quality which introduces such a high latency (the time needed to do the digital conversion) that you can hear it.
    Solution 2:
It seems that many users are not aware that the newer MacBooks have a "double duty" audio port. Unfortunately, it is labeled with a headphone icon which points to an "audio out". However, this port can be used as ad audio out (Sound Output) or audio in (Sound Input). You set that in the System Preferences > Sound window
With a 1/4" to 1/8" cable, you could connect your electric guitar directly into your Mac. Check the input level meter in the System Preferences if your guitar signal (or other audio signal) is high enough. Although the quality might not be the best (compared to a good external Audio Interface), I would bet that the analog-digital converter (ADC) are better that your Lightsnake cable, resulting in a much lower latency
    Hope that helps
