HT4743 Problem viewing "purchased" TV show

I purchased Mad Men Season 6 several days ago and have watched several episodes.  Today, however, it does not show up in my "Purchased" TV shows.  Why?  How do I fix it?

Or perhaps the Apple TV is not signed in with the Apple ID that was used to purchase it.
Sign in to the iTunes Store
From the main Apple TV menu, choose Settings > iTunes Store.

    No, i Cloud allows you to download, it does not allow viewing of video without downloading first.

    I had same problem with brand new ipad whose OS I updated immediately upon purchase. Apple support gave me this fix (accidentally, in the manner of kicking the bushes to see if a bunny rabbit runs out)
    instead of going to "purchased" go to TV shows in the store as if you were going to buy a new one
    select the show or shows you have already bought
    this presents you a list of shows available for download, which you can select.
    Download begins, presto.
    his explanation was they've been doing a lot of updates lately and they shut certain functions down while that is happening.

    Not all content is available in all regions.  Availability is entirely determined by the content owners.

    I am running iTunes on an HP Pavilion under Windows 7.  iTunes version 10.4.  iTunes store works fine except that when I try to call up my previous purchases (per the cloud) nothing shows up.  This works on another authorized PC I use and on my iPad2.  Any ideas what could be going on?

    I've got the same problem too, sometimes (and now) my purchases don't show under my "All" tab.
    Its frustrating when you're trying to verify that any apps you redeemed have been registered.
    By the way, rebooting doesn't work. I tried.

  • Problems with 'Purchased' Music showing up as 'Error' in Match

    I'm mystified by one aspect of iTunes Match behaviour.  I have a large collection of U2 songs, some of which I had ripped from CD and some of which, latterly, I bought through iTunes.  As you can see, most of the songs I have were found and matched by iTunes without a problem.
    What I don't understand is why I am seeing Error against the songs from 'No Line On the Horizon' and 'Zooropa' when these were purchased from iTunes.  They are definitely in my Library because I can manually locate them.
    Additionally, I don't understand why for two of the songs, Zooropa and Lemon, it wants me to download them again as 'Purchased'.  Why those two and not the others with Errors against their name?  I bought the No Line and Zooropa tracks from Apple to begin with.
    Thirdly, it appears from the iTunes list above that I have two copies of Zooropa when in fact I only have one.  I can easily find the files in Finder as you can see from the screen shot below.
    I don't really want to have to re-download all the songs that iTunes can't find as this will mean I just have duplicates. Equally, I don't want to have to re-attach or re-import Error songs that I know are on my HD and which have somehow been dropped by the iTunes Match process.
    And I get terribly confused in this process of syncing and matching if I try to delete some of these duplicate entries, because frankly if I delete something and it's removed from iCloud and all my devices, I'm no longer quite sure what I'm removing and where from.
    I have backup but should it be this difficult?

    It can become confusing.
    An easy route to resolve would be simply to copy your U2 Songs to a standalone folder (outside iTunes).  Delete the Song files from iTunes (including the option to remove from the iCloud).  Once complete, turn iTunes Match off, go to the iTunes Store 'purchased' area and access all your U2 purchases.  From the U2 folder import any further U2 songs that were not purchased from iTunes.
    Now sign-out of iTunes Store, restart computer from cold, start iTunes, sign-in to iTunes Store, start iTunes Match and allow is to complete the 3-step process.
    At this point iTunes will correctly recognise all your purchased Songs and for the remainder will have successfully 'matched' or 'uploaded'.
    This should leave your library in a stable working condition, with iTunes Match enabled and all U2 Songs.

    iTunes on the iPad is a link to the store only.
    It is used to buy media.
    To listen to music or audio(podcasts, audiobooks) go to the music app.
    For movies, tv shows or music videos you use the videos app.

    With your iPhone connected and available in your iTunes source list, select your iPhone in the source list.
    Under the Video tab for your iPhone sync preferences, the following sections are available:
    Rented Movies
    TV Shows
    Movies
    At Sync, you can choose All and below select All TV shows or Selected TV Shows.

    I purchased seasons 1,2, and 3 (Season 3 is still running so I bought the season pass) of NBC's The Office -- I bought them all pretty much at the same time so that they would download and I'd have them there in the morning. However, looking at the purchased episodes and downloads, I don't see all of the episodes from seasons 1 and 2 and even 3. I am REALLY scared that my money was wasted and that I lost a bunch of episodes. Will they appear or should I be really worried?     Where are you looking on your iPad for the shows?  In iTunes?  If so, look under Videos.

    I recently installed the new version of iTunes, but when I went to view a TV show a window popped up saying this version does not support Quick Time. So I downloaded Quick Time and the same widow popped up again saying the same thing.

    Would be problems with purchases, billing, and redemption option.  It's not 100% exact to your issue, but it will get you to the right department.
    Go here https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.do then select ITunes, then Store, then Purchases, Billing, and Redemption.  Then.. probably pick "My topic is not listed."

    if your internet speed is faster then you recieve the data then the issue must be in apples server
