HT4759 any idea when icloud will be compatible with windows 8?

I upgraded to win 8 and now I can't sync my calendars to outlook, any idea when icould will be compatible with win 8?

Both ADE1.7.2 (see *** below) and ADE2.0 run on Windows 8.
ADE2.0 is full of bugs on Windows 8; but only the same bugs it has everywhere else as well.
Neither can take advantage of touch, nor run in Metro mode (whatever it's proper name is).
As far as I am aware, there is no Adobe DRM compatible app that runs on Windows RT.

For DRM free ebooks, use the free and vastly superior Calibre. http://calibre-ebook.com/
For DRM ebooks, you can use Sony Reader; free download from Sony intended to run with Sony eReaders but works quite happily without. I prefer ADE1.7.2 to Sony Reader. https://ebookstore.sony.com/download/

Any idea when we will see units new out of the box without a scratch? I was out at Apple to pick up my iPhone 5 in black on Oct 12th. I opened the box in front of an Apple technician and there was a scratch on the edge. So I told her I didn't want a scratched iPhone. So she returned and brought out another phone. Well, she couldn't get it to a accept the new iPhone because there's a 24hr waiting period when you make a return. This is Verizon's policy, but of course we didn't find out until 2.5hrs later.
So she says you'll have to return but we will hold this phone for you. I was disappointed after being there for a total of 3.5hrs and no iPhone. I returned on Saturday hoping the next iPhone didn't have a scratch. I opened the box and there was a scratch! I live 40 minutes from these store, so it's not close.
I have an iPhone 4 that's in excellent condition! I don't want a new iPhone 5 with a scratch, unless its a scratch caused by me.

We're users here. Why would you ask a question here that no one can answer? Are you impaired in some way intellectually?

Don't know what "the apps" are; they won't happen all at once. It will happen for an individual application when the developer chooses to make a new version available.

OCFS2 - Any idea when it will be supported?

I am at the beginning stages of a 11.5.10 development effort. We are building our dev hardware environment with the intentions of mimicking prod. The problem I have is clustering/RAC and what to do about the shared file system. Right now, OCFS2 is not supported for production. This would somewhat force our hand to look at Red Hat GFS for the shared file system (expensive - $2100 per node) or something similar, since we are planning a shared $ORACLE_HOME and $APPL_TOP.
Does anyone have an idea when OCFS2 will be supported? Are there other alternatives to Red Hat GFS?

That certainly does - a bunch!
Go live on this project is not until November 1 2005, so I can start development with beta OCFS2, when OCFS2 goes GA I'll just backup everything and rebuild the file system with the supported version.

Digital edition is not currently compatible with Windows 8, What is the likely date when it will be available for windows 8 as I can't use it on Windows8. Is there any other alternate available for this?

ICloud mail down in Australia. Any idea when it will be back up?

Have not had iCloud mail come through all day, any idea if its a) down and b) if so, when it will be back up?

I've been down since midday 17 April over here in Perth.
It's incredibly frustrating, as some important and urgent email was apparently sent to the iCloud account, which I've missed.
I can't get a straight answer from anyone about when it will be up again.

I'm presuming EHP5 will be based on NW EHP2 as EHP4 was based on NW EHP1.

Infinity is in the area - but not yet at the closest cabinet - cabinet 57. There's a brand new shiny cabinet that has been recently placed right next to it - but it's not yet active. Anyone know when it will be switched over and in use?

Yes your cabinet 57 is getting a FTTC DSLAM cabinet (which enabled FTTC fibre broadband) via the Superfast Cymru programme. The new DSLAM cabinet (which will connect to the cab57) is likly to be installed opposite Ty Sarn and Bryn y wan in Rudry.
I can't see any roadworks in the area relating to the deployment of your FTTC DSLAM cabinet.
If you contact Superfast Cymru with your landline number, postcode and cabinet number (in your case Cab57 CAERPHILLY exchange) they should be able to tell you at what stage of depolyment your cabinet is at.

The Superfast Cymru programme completes on 31st March 2016, so the speed of work will probably speed up over the next months to try and get as much of the deployment completed.

As of right now, we do not have an ETA as to when we will start pre-orders. My guess is that once something more definite is out regarding the console, such as release date or specs, then we will start taking pre-orders. Maybe this summer?
