Can someone help me figure out how to get my ipod music from my old 4iphone transferred to my new iphone 5?

If the music on your iPod was downloaded elsewhere or ripped from CD's, you can't transfer that back to a computer or another iOS device, iPhones/iPads/iPods weren't designed for this. That has everything to do with music industry rights and legal stuff.

My MacBook Pro does not recognize my Android Incrdible 2 cell phone and therefore I can not transfer any photos from my cell phone to my Mac. I was able to do this in the past, but can not do so now. I had the same issue with the Galaxy S4 trying to see what the hype was about and was my first and last android phone. With that being said unfortunately it is a hit or miss with the Mac recognizing an android device or not. It worked perfectly fine the first time around and then it stopped working for no apparent reason. Through trial and error nothing I did solved the issue. I did however plug it in my Mac and left it connected for about 30-40 min to charge for a bit and all of the sudden it recognizes the phone. So I just launched Android File Transfer and everything else became fluid after that. I have no explanation as to why it happened that way, but what I gathered from this is maybe you just have to let it sit for a minute while plugged in before the Mac recognizes it, after all they are opposing software. On a side note this is why I will always be an apple user, Iphones and the like never have this problem

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything... and you must continue with the Recovery...

Yes you can buddy!!....
But those music should be downloaded from itunes only, or else you cannot transfer but you can do one thing
keep all your music files in one single folder in your computer and try enabling the "sync music" in itunes so that when you connect your Iphone 5 the entire music music comes into your new dedvice

What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not an iTunes "account." The account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID, which you use to sign in to the iTunes Store and make purchases. It is also used with iCloud. iPods (that are not iPod touch) are associated with your iTunes library, not to your Apple ID.
So, I think you probably just need to set up (or update) automatic syncing for the iPod. If it's not set up to sync those new songs, iTunes still syncs the iPod, but it syncs nothing
In iTunes, if the sidebar (along left side of iTunes window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. In the sidebar, the iPod appears under DEVICES, when it is connected.
Select the iPod in iTunes. There is a row of buttons, starting with Summary. Click on Music next to Summary. This is the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to the iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music (if it's not already checked). If your iTunes music library fits completely on the iPod, you can choose to sync Entire music library. Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. On the lists below, checkmark the playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres that you want on the iPod. When you click Apply, the songs from your selection sync to the iPod.
One convenient way to set this up (if you can't sync the entire iTunes music library) is to create a new playlist in your iTunes library. Name it "iPod Songs" (or whatever you want). Put ALL songs that you want on the iPod on this playlist, including those new songs. Back on the iPod's Music screen in iTunes, select this playlist under Playlists. Going forward, to update songs on the iPod, just update that playlist in your iTunes library (add/remove songs). The next time you connect the iPod (or click the Sync button), iTunes automatically syncs the same changes to the iPod. -

No. You can only music to your iPhone from one computer at a time. If you try to load music onto it from a 2nd computer, it will erase the current content on the iPhone and replace it with whats in the iTunes library you are connected to,

You can sync content like music using iTunes as the vehicle in order to transfer content from one device to another. This support artcile might be helpful. You can sync and transfer purchases from the iPad and then sync the phone by setting up the sync preferences in iTunes for the phone.

You can also download the music to the phone from the purchased tab in iTunes - on the phone, but it goes much quicker of you sync the content from iTunes.
If you want to sync notes, calendar entries using iCloud, and assuming that you have iCloud enabled on both devices, make sure that you turned these items on in the settings in Settings>iCloud>Calendars>On and the same for notes. You have to have an iCloud email account in order to sync this content unless you are syncing via your email account and that would have to be set up as well in Settings>Mail, contacts and calendars. -

Since Lion has not been released yet, doubtful you are getting a message indicating you need Lion installed. The minimum Mac OS requirements for an iPhone 4 is 10.5.8 (Leopard) or later. You need Leopard or Snow Leopard installed.
