Can i use my laptop which is running Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade from Vista to stream photos using ICloud. The outlook programme used is 2003 and i my devices are IPad mini and IPhone 5. My problem is that i able to drag pictures into ICloud for it to send to my devices but nothing happens. Why?

A hard drive if it has failed will sometimes allow you to boot into windows but may not work completely (Eg: In a scenario, where system partition ;where windows is installed works fine but logical partition of hard drive has gone bad).
On certain conditions, if the hard drive is on verge of failure may/may not respond completely. I would suggest you to run a diagnostics using Seagate Seatools which works on any hard drive irrespective of manufacturer to actually confirm if your hard drive has failed.
Also, any hard drive can fail in spite of it been 1yr old or 1day old as its all manufactured in bulk and most of it comes from China

HT201317 iCloud on my iPhone and iPad....photo sharing quit working

I have enabled iCloud on my iPhone and iPad for sharing photos....it worked for awhile but recently stopped. We have checked the settings as instructed...it appears to be consistent with the iCloud instructions....plus, both devices are on the same wi-fi.....why did it stop working?

I assume you mean that your two devices are sharing the same photo stream, but they are no longer streaming new photos to each other. To troubleshoot this, first determine which device is not adding new photos for photo stream by taking a new photo on each and seeing if the photo appears in the photo stream album on the device after a minute or so. (The must be connected to wifi, have the camera app closed, and have at least 20% battery life remaining in order to upload photos to photo stream.)
If one of your devices fails to add new photos to its photo stream album, save the photo stream photos that you want to keep on the device to the camera roll (if not already there) by tapping Edit, tapping the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Then go to Settings>iCloud, turn photo stream off, wait a minute or so, then turn it back on. Then take a new photo and see if it appears in the photo stream album now, and streams to the other device.

The iPod sees the new computer as a new iTunes library. You can only sync with one iTunes library. However, you can manage music among disfferent computers. See:

No it is not possible. Content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, and Apple does not provide a way to change it.

Delete the account on your phone. This will not delete any data on her phone or iPad, or data stored in iCloud.

Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.
Some users have apparently encountered issues using this information in pre-Lion set ups (I haven't), Roger Wilmut has kindly provided instructions for those who find themselves with this problem.

If have separate iCloud accounts and want to keep your all your iCloud data separate, you can create separate user accounts for each of you, then sign into your individual iCloud account within your user account.
If you want to just add both iCloud calendars on your Mac, you can sign into one iCloud account in System Preferences>iCloud, then add the second account in System Preferences>Internet Accounts>iCloud and only check Calendars with this second account.

You don't sync the MM calendar anymore, you subscribe to it in iCal,
iCal>Preferences>Accounts, enter the details here.
MM should be the default calendar on all clients.

I can see home sharing on my iPhone and iPad both running iOS 5 but when it loads the library is empty. Help!!

The iPad is new today so pleeeease help! I have the latest version of iTunes and both iPhone and iPad are up to date. I have never had a problem with home sharing before 10.5 iTunes. Both mobile devices can eventually see the shared library but load it as though it is empty. This applies to movies as well. I have turned off home sharing on the mac and restarted it. I have also made sure that the username and password on both mobile devices are correct. Help!

This has solved loads of people who have this issue and have used an alternate DNS setting. Below are instructions for both iPhone OTA and on you Mac
If you are getting the error message "Unable to check for update" when you try an OTA (over the air update)
Change DNS Servers
Settings -> Wi-Fi
Click the blue arrow on your connected network
Delete everything in DNS and replace it with 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
Try again
If this works, you will probably want to remove the WiFi network using "Forget This Network" and then reconnect to it to get your original DNS servers back. Alternatively, make a note of the original DNS servers before deleting them and replace it after you are done.
If you are getting the error message "Unable to check for update" when you try through iTunes

Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Network.
Select the network connection service you want to use (such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, unless you named it something else) from the list, and then click Advanced.

On a Windows PC the easiest way to get pictures from your iPhone is to just use Windows Explorer.
1) Plugin your iPhone to your PC
2) Open “My Computer”
3) Find your iPhone, it will appear as any other camera would
4) Open iPhone to find your Photos
5) Select the pictures you want to copy to your computer and copy/ paste them into the desired location on your PC.

- An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. Yu can however manage music and videos among different computers by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
- To change syncing computer, move all the media to compute r#2
- Connect the iPod to #2 and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note tha the iPod backup the iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.

Hi Pierre,
There's no way to merge them yet, so all you can do now is make 1 of them the master ID for iCloud. You have to continue to use the other for previous iTunes, Mac App Store updates. Have you read:
